December Beauty Favourites – My Beauty Loves

December was always my favourite time of year the month just gone did not disappoint. It was an amazing month filled with time with my husband, a lot of food & some down time. I am pretty sure over Christmas I lived my best roast potato life, I’m currently 45% potatoes, 35% cheese and 20% chocolate. Yes those calculations work out too, if you take into account my love for potatoes, cheese and chocolate. However I’ve got some favourites for the month, things I’ve worn a lot, things I’m loving and things you should definitely try!

Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel*

I’ve been using this for a while, and raved about it on a regular basis because it is one of those cleansers that is good for however your skin is feeling. I struggle with combination skin, so when my skin is extremely oily it leaves it feeling clean and when my skin is super dry it feels like it gives my skin the TLC it really needs at the time. It’s an amazing cleanser – you should definitely check them out!

Maui Moisture Blow Out Mist

I actually bought this because it was on offer and my normal go to Umberto Giannini one was out of stock in my local Boots, since trying this one though I’ve been in love! It smells absolutely amazing and not only that it helps to leave my hair feeling smooth and soft! It is also a super fine mist so I don’t have to worry about it clumping my hair together!

Bare Minerals Lashtopia Mascara

I bought this a while ago (I actually bought the 2 pack from Debenhams in the sale to stock up too) and I have loved it so much. It really does lift my lashes so much, gives them volume without clumping and it is a mascara that leaves your lashes feeling conditioned. I normally go for my Too Faced mascara, but lately I’ve been reading for this one a bit more! It’s an amazing mascara!

Tropic Pure Lagoon Serum*

I’ve been using this serum for a while and it’s such a gorgeous serum. I love the way it smells, I love the way it works on my skin and not only that with my spot prone skin it works wonders! If you struggle with spot prone skin, you’re looking to up your skincare routine then this serum works absolute wonders!

Unearthd Cast Your Eyes On Me*

I’ve been trialling this since about September, and I’ve noticed a difference in my brows, I have really bushy brows but I do get sparse parts sometimes, and using this has helped keep my brows in tip top condition. I’ve been using it on my lashes too, I notice a difference in the way my mascara applies, and the length but the main difference I’ve noticed is the amazing condition my lashes are in. It is also perfect for sensitive skin!

Too Faced Sweet Peach Blur

We all know I adore Too Faced, and this blur finishing powder is absolutely amazing! It really does work wonders on my large pores, leaves my skin looking incredible and flawless! It gives the perfect not matte but not glowing finish, it’s currently my go to finishing powder. If you’re looking for something that isn’t too heavy on the skin, it’s perfect!
