It’s that time of the month again which means it’s time for a brand new favourites post. April was a bit of an odd one for me, it was full of so many highs and lows, but overall I feel like I’m finally getting my groove back. Not just with blogging but with life in general and I’ve fall in love with so many beauty brands – old and new and I genuinely can’t wait to share them with you! Are you ready for some gorgeous brands? Let’s go!
Umberto Giannini Grow Tonic
I love how this product makes my hair feel, if you have thinning hair which I do a little bit in patches, then you will love this. My hair feels really healthy and it’s grown quite a bit. I’ve been wanting to grow my hair a bit longer for a while, but it takes forever, since using this I’ve noticed my hair has grown a lot quicker. Also if you tend to have greasy hair then this won’t leave your hair feeling greasy.
ELF Poreless Face Primer
I talk about ELF all the time and how I genuinely feel they’re one of the most underrated drug store beauty brands out there. This primer works wonders on my crater pores. I mean it’s ridiculous how big my pores are but this fills my pores, leaves my face feeling super smooth and looking absolutely flawless. It’s one of the most value for money primers out there.
ELF Flawless Filter Foundation
When it comes to foundation I am really picky and this foundation has been through the ultimate work wear test, I mean being in a warm office, nose running due to pollen and it’s my go to! I love a good value foundation, I mean don’t get me wrong I love a high end foundation but sometimes especially for work you need a cheaper alternative and this really does stand up to some of my more expensive foundations like the Born This Way foundation, Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation and the Sweet Peach foundation.
Tropic Skincare Fruit Peel Resurfacing Serum*
We all know I have a special place in my heart from Tropic Skincare, and this serum is definitely no different. It’s gorgeous and it really helps to keep my spots at bay. Not only that I’ve also noticed that the texture of my skin has improve dramatically since using it, my face feels smoother, it looks smoother and so much heathier too! It’s a little pricey, however a little goes such a long way with this product. I tend to use it mainly at night and I don’t use too much at a time, around a pea sized amount!
Salt Of The Earth Unscented Deodorant
I’ve been on the hunt for a while for another natural deodorant, I had tried one from The Natural Deodorant Co and loved it so much and when I saw this one in Holland and Barrett I genuinely couldn’t not pick it up. I really really like this one. It doesn’t have a scent to it which is totally okay with me, I’m not too fussed but I love how it keeps me really dry and not sweaty at all. I have put it through it’s paces, especially on the really hot bank holiday weekend and it worked wonders! Definitely one that is worth a go if you’re looking to try a deodorant that doesn’t have aluminium in it!
Freshly Hyper-Concentrate Eye Contour Serum*
I’ve talked about my love for Freshly for such a long time and they celebrated their 3rd birthday recently! (Happy Birthday Freshly!) This eye contour serum is amazing. I get really dark circles under my eyes that I’m pretty sure that you can see them from out of space, and this has really helped to get them under control, they’ve improved so much and I notice such a difference when I use this in my routine. It is on the high end side but very much like the Tropic serum you don’t need a lot and it spreads really easily on the eyes.
So those are my favourites from last month, I hope you like them ad please let me know if you see any products you love!

Really love the sound of the Freshly eye serum. I always have to fend off dark circles! 😀

Oooh this is my favourite kind of post, skincare makes me so happy! That Tropic Skincare serum looks amazing; I get really dry skin which can leave my face a bit bumpy and not very smooth, so I love the idea of that! I also like the sound of the eye contour serum. I’m a bit paranoid about the skin around my eyes getting wrinkly, plus I have dark circles, so that sounds like a winner to me!

I’ve definitely said this FAR too many times but I really need to try out some ELF products!! I’ve loved Umberto Gianni products before but haven’t used them in years tbh!

I’m going to add that deodorant to my amazon basket now x

I really like the look and sound of that Tropic serum!
I’m sure I have a sample of the Tropic Fruit Peel, I’ll have to dig it out xx
Definitely need to try some of these!!
Your blog is beautiful and the photos in this post are great! I also use the elf poreless primer and absolutely LOVE IT! Great reviews and suggestions.
I definitely need to try out their elf primer! My skin can be so oily at times and only really pore filling primers work to keep my skin shiny! Great post x
Thanks for sharing your favourites. I have very thin hair so that hair growth tonic could be the perfect product for me. Along with the eye serum! I have very dark circles under my eyes too.
So happy to see e.l.f. make an appearance in this list because I, too, am a huge fan of their products! The Freshly Hyper-Concentrate Eye Contour Serum sounds lovely, I’m going to check it out x
Great post and products! I will most definitely be checking them out very soon!
I’ve been wanting to try a natural deodorant as well as something which will make my hair grow – so the hair tonic sounds like it’s good quality and does the job too most importantly. Thanks for sharing your favourites – I always add new things to my beauty list once I read your posts x x
These are some great products Amie! I like the sound of that deodorant! xx

Thanks for sharing I especially love the deodorant I’m going to buy and test out. I’ve been on the hunt for natural ones with no aluminum and honestly I haven’t had the best of luck I felt like some have kept me dry but not smelling fresh so I’m open to trying something new!
I have not use ELF in like forever!
BTW love your pics!
I’ve never used a face primer, but the more I read about them, the more I think I should give one a try at some point! Thanks for sharing
I love having a nosey at what products everyone uses so really enjoyed reading this post! I definitely agree that ELF are a underrated drugstore brand because their products are such good quality and so well priced.
El xx
Ooh I’m trying to grow my hair, I love the idea of something that will make it grow a bit faster. Although mine is unmanageable thick already so don’t want to encourage that too much! Great products here – and I’m so pleased to hear you’re getting your groove back!
Love the sound of the deodorant. I want to try more natural things xx
These look awesome!! I was about to get the ELF Poreless Face Primer last time I was at the beauty store but I don’t know why I didn’t, glad to hear you like it!! I also want to try that fruit peel serum, it sounds so good for my skin!!! Thank you for sharing lovely 🙂 xx
I use this deodorant! I am really happy you covered foundation as I really struggle to find a vegan (and non vegan before I was vegan) foundation I like. I will give ELF a try when my current finishes.
Thank you for sharing.

I absolutely love these products, especially the under eye contour cream. I’ve had building work in for the past couple of months and since then my sleep has been well and truly disturbed so it would be nice to ‘look’ like I get more sleep.
oh wow, these are some wonderful favourites, need to try them all out. I really need to try the salt of the earth deodorant, I prefer using more natural products rather than ones that contain aluminium.

That ELF primer is lovely isn’t it – love the products you picked this month x
Eye serum is something I have to start using. I’m getting old (when I was 10 I thought people who are 28 are so old!) and I can see traces of wrinkles on my face. My biggest problem is with hair though, do you know of any ‘miracle’ product for improving hair condition?

I love, love, love ELF products! I’m glad to hear the ones you have work well! I love their moisturizers too. Such good quality for the prices!
And natural deodorant?? Heck yes! I’ve been so interested in natural deodorants, but as someone who lives in the desert, I’d REALLY need one that works, especially with the summer coming up. I couldn’t bear to use a deodorant that doesn’t work and unleash that on the world, haha.
Great posts, I’m definitely going to check out some of these brands!!

that tropic serum sounds lush
Hi Amie, the ELF primer sounds perfect.. have you tried their fix & set sprays, or is there another brand you’d recommend instead?
