The Pip Box – Start January Cruelty Free*

Contains PR samples

The Pip Box is one of my favourite subscription boxes ever, the products you get in there are honestly amazing! Their new box which is in collaboration with Cruelty Free International is a starter kit for the new year. If you’re looking at going cruelty free and you’re not sure where to start this box is perfect!

In the box you get 11 products for just £40! There is such a variety of products in the box and you’re pretty much covered for all your beauty needs! Ready to find out what I thought?

iGlow Long Lashes Serum

I already have very long lashes, however, I could always use some more volume in my lashes! I’ve been trialling this since I got it, and I’m loving the way it makes my lashes feel. They do feel stronger which is something I definitely want, I curl my lashes all the time with eyelash curlers, so something that is going to make them healthier I’m always up for! I’ve still got a long way to go with this serum but I can’t wait to see the final results!

Purple Tree Miracle Balm

I’ve never heard of this brand before, but when I saw it I got very excited, mainly because I adore anything that smells like pomegranate! It is quite a thick balm, but super soft and it feels like it melts into your skin or lips. I’ve been using this on my lips at night because I’ve got some very irritated lips because of the cold and it’s been working wonders on my lips! My lips feel hydrated and super soft!

Lacura Lemon and Tea Tree Shower Gel

I adore anything that has tea tree in it! This shower gel is so refreshing on the skin, especially first thing in the morning and it smells so so good! I know you can get Lacura in Aldi, so I’m definitely going to check them out and see what other scents they do!

Lily & Lolo Natural Eye Pencil

I love a good eye pencil and I have it in the shade natural brown! It is so pigmented! I’m so impressed with the amount of colour pay off that comes from it. It is so smooth in the application, it almost feels like wax, but it isn’t it’s a pencil!

Keweko London Toner

I’ve never heard of this brand before but since using it, I’ve fallen in love! It absorbs into the skin so quickly and it makes you face feel so fresh after application! I absolutely adore the smell of the toner too! It’s an amazing toner, and I’ve noticed a bit of a difference in my pores too! Win win!

Urban Veda Purifying Face Wash

I’ve actually used this one before, I got a sample through and tried it! It’s an amazing face wash, it does exactly what it says on the bottle and it’s really good for my combination skin and abnormally large pores! I’ve kept this one in my sample bottle bag for when I go away as it’s perfect!

Silvan Skincare Star Anise Lip Balm

Now you can never have too many lip balms, I’ve actually put this in my handbag! It smells absolutely wonderful, and the one thing that I really love about this lip balm is it has a bit more of an oily texture to it, so as soon as you apply it, it feels like your lips are being hydrated! I get dry/chapped lips quite a lot so having something that is a little more oily but not greasy is something I enjoy a little more – especially during the colder months! It’s also the perfect size to put in your bag! I also find it doesn’t leave your lips feeling sticky after using it! It’s an amazing product!

The Natural Deodorant Co

I’ve never used anything like this before so this has definitely been a learning curve! I tried it and it actually has amazing staying power, I decided to put it to the ultimate workout test and it stood the test of time quite well! I didn’t feel as dry as I normally would, however I didn’t smell horrible and I could still smell the mandarin!

Friendly Soap Hair and Body Bar

This product is literally amazing! I’ve tried it on my body and I love it! It doesn’t dry your skin out, it smells absolutely amazing! The lavender scent isn’t overpowering, and it leaves your body feeling super soft! I am yet to try it on my hair, but I’m quite excited to see how it works!

7th Heaven Pink Guava Peel Off Mask

I’ve tried quite a few of the 7th heaven masks, and always found them to leave my skin feeling absolutely incredible. Not only that you always get a lot of mask inside for your money! I loved trying this one, peeling it off was so satisfying and it left my skin feeling so smooth!

Primark Amber Passion Eyeshadow Palette

And finally we have the Primark eyeshadow palette, how gorgeous is this palette?! I mean look at those shades! If you’re a sucker for a warm toned palette then you need this in your life! The shadows are easy to blend with gorgeous shimmers, the colour champagne in the top right is very light on the skin, however if you use some setting spray it will intensify the shimmer!

Overall the palette is very beautiful, the shades are stunning and my swatches don’t really do them justice but you can get an idea of the colour and the range of shades! Aura is definitely my favourite!

For what you get in the box it is well worth the £40 in my opinion! You get some amazing brands and a wide variety of products from different price points too!
