Six Things I’m Grateful For This Week

This week has been a tough week, I know that I probably say that every week every week and said it’s been a tough week, but this week has been incredibly difficult and it has given me a massive wake up call on various different levels. I think when you do go through a difficult phase, you honestly feel so grateful for so many different things, you see things from a totally different perspective.

Life isn’t always a bed of roses but I’m a firm believer in the fact that everything happens for a reason! So what am I grateful for?

1. The NHS

Now I’ve been so ill lately, especially over the last couple of weeks, and with about 3 trips to the doctors and to the hospital, and probably a few more to come I’m beyond grateful for our national health service. It is overstretched, but it does so much for us and I’m so grateful that they’re doing so much for me right now.

2. Good Friends & Family

Honestly I have the best friends, both in real life and online. My online friends are some of the most incredible people in the world and not only that they’ve been the greatest support for me and I can’t explain how much that means to me. My family have been so amazing to me too, my mum basically coming with me everywhere, my husband being there as my shoulder to cry on and as a massive cuddle. Knowing you’ve got amazing people around you is amazing!

3. Vegan Salted Caramel blondies

If there is a cake, some brownies or blondies – basically anything sweet and I’m totally there! Not only that, we all need comfort food sometimes. I posted a recipe the other day and honestly it went down so well with my family. If you fancy making your own, it’s an easy recipe – so click here!

4. Netflix

Oh my gosh I’m so grateful for Netflix, thank gosh for always keeping me entertained, especially lately, not only that knowing I can chill out and just chuck Netflix on, it makes me super happy. Also who doesn’t love a good binge watch of programmes? I certainly do!

5. My creativity making a return

Hallelujah, it’s a miracle, I needed it to return. I’m feeling motivated to take some amazing new photos, to write some blog posts, and to just get myself sorted! I needed my creativity to make it’s long awaited return, I feel like I’ve been waiting forever!

6. My Blog

Now I’ve always been grateful for my blog, but this week it has been such an outlet for my thoughts, it has helped me to process my thoughts and feelings, and not only that just generally express the way I’ve been feeling. It’s such an amazing outlet and to be quite honest I don’t know what I’d do without it!

What are you grateful for this week? Sometimes I feel like we all need a little reminder about the things we are grateful for as it is generally good for the soul as a little reminder.
