Six Products You Need For Flat and Frizzy Hair

Haircare is so important, especially with the colder months fast approaching, it’s just as important, if not more so with the weather changing. But there are ways to help keep your hair soft, control the frizz and stay healthy. There are six products that I genuinely cannot live without because they leave my hair looking and feeling incredible, so are you ready to find the haircare you need in your life?

Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Joia Shampoo

I’ve been using this shampoo for over 2 and a half months and honestly I love it so much. I love the way it makes my hair feel, the way it gives my hair such an amazing shine and also the smell is absolutely heavenly. I have seriously dry and damaged hair, which is caused by my intense love for straightening my hair, and I feel like my ends especially are super dry, but this shampoo has made such a difference. If you struggle with dry, damaged and frizzy hair, then this will definitely need to be in your hair routine.

The Hair Boss Body Building Foam Conditioner

I can’t remember the last time I used a foam conditioner, but I really love it. The foam is really lovely on the hair, doesn’t weigh your hair down and gives your hair this amazing volume. My hair feels incredibly soft after I use it and if you have very fine hair you will love this. The additional bonus of this conditioner is the fact that it is so budget friendly, and for £8.99 you will have healthy hair.

Trevor Sorbie Thicker and Fuller Root Booster

I remember when I was a teen I used to love Trevor Sorbie and use his products all of the time, but this is the first time I’ve seen them in Superdrug in so long, but when I saw this I knew I had to buy it. The way it lifts your roots after 1 application, without leaving your hair feeling crunchy or heavy and also the way my hair looked thicker was amazing. The added advantage of this spray is that it is only £6.99 and it has worked miracles on my hair.

Paul Mitchell Neuro Style Primer

I’ve talked about this primer a lot on my blog, but honestly it is still my holy grail primer. The way it leaves my hair feeling, the way it controls my frizz, doesn’t leave my hair feeling greasy, smooths my hair and protects it against heat, it is a wonder product that you will absolutely adore. If you’re also trying to keep your hair straight all day, then you need this in your routine, because when I straighten my hair, using this primer, my hair is super shiny, frizz is under control and my hair is smooth. It’s the ultimate frizzy hair product.

Paul Mitchell Super Strong Liquid Treatment

I’ve talked about this a lot in the past, but I still feel like this spray needs some hype. The way this spray detangles your hair, and does it so quickly. The other things I love about this amazing spray is the way it strengthens my hair and gives it so much moisture without weighing it down. It is a very light spray that sinks in well to the hair without leaving your hair feeling greasy. I’ve used this spray for over 5 years and it is my holy grail to help any breakage I may have!

The Hair Boss The Scalp Scrub

I’ve been using this a lot lately and I really enjoy it. Where I use product all the time, and I also get very oily hair, I really enjoy a scalp scrub, since using this though, I’ve noticed such a difference in my scalp. I have a very sensitive scalp anyway, so I was nervous to use this, however, it was so gentle, without stripping the scalp, and really helped in terms of the amount of oil my scalp produces, I’ve noticed less. If you’re like me and your hair gets oily very quickly, this has really helped me to control the amount of oil my scalp produces. You do not need a lot of this product, and it does take a little time to exfoliate the scalp but it is definitely worth it.

These sound like great products to try! My hair care has totally changed since the whole covid situation (for the better though). I am letting it dry more naturally, so I’m not using a hairdryer as much…definitely helping keep my hair healthy.
