E.L.F Cosmetics – A High Street Brand You Need To Try

We all know that even though I love my high end beauty products but high street beauty brands are literally where my heart is. The fact that you can get incredible products right on the high street for a fraction of the price. I’ve actually talked about E.L.F a lot on my blog, however this is the first time I’ve done a dedicated blog post for it because I really feel like the brand needs to be talked about a lot more. Not only do they have incredible make up, but incredible brushes too!

E.L.F Blemish Control Primer

I’ve talked about this primer a lot, mainly because it is one of my favourites and especially when I’ve had a massive break out it is one of my go to products and really helps the application of my make up on my spots! It’s an amazing consistency, melts into the skin and not only that it keeps your make up in place all day so perfectly!

E.L.F Prep & Blur Stick

I use this mainly around my nose, because I have pores the size of craters and this really helps to fill my pores and smooth the skin, it blurs and allows your skin to look absolutely flawless! If you’re looking for a stick that is really easy to use, doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and mattifies your face, then this is the primer for you!

E.L.F Flawless Finish Light Ivory Foundation

A good foundation goes such a long way in my opinion, this one is an absolute holy grail, it doesn’t oxidise on my skin, it gives a very smooth finish and not only that even though it is quite thick, it doesn’t feel it on the skin. I get a lot of redness on my skin, especially around my nose and this really does cover and diffuse all the redness around my nose! It’s such a good foundation!

E.L.F Make Up Fixing Mist

I always need a good setting spray, this one from a drug store is so affordable and so good on the skin. It really does work well to keep it in place, I’ve tested it and it has lasted about 13 hours on the skin, without my make up budging! The other thing I love about this is it doesn’t feel sticky on the skin, some that I have tried previously honestly feel like glue on my face, this one is one of my favourites for that reason! It leaves a demi-matte finish and leaves the skin feeling so good!

E.L.F Natural Glow Lotion

On days where I don’t want to wear a lot of make up, I use this product and honestly it is an absolute dream come true! It is a super hydrating lotion, I personally find it soothes the skin and leaves your skin highlighted and glowing! I also use this under a light foundation or a BB cream, and it looks incredible, you are left with the dewy glow that looks absolutely incredible!

E.L.F Total Face Make Up Palette

We all know when it comes to a highlighter, my heart beats a little faster, so this palette even though it is a total face product, it has the most gorgeous highlighter in it. The palette is really pigmented, and the contour shade in the bottom right is absolutely perfect for my skin tone. As I am very fair blends perfectly into the skin, don’t use too much as I found these powders are pigmented!

These shades blend out really easily on the skin, so if you’re a new to this palette or you’re wanting a subtle look, then this palette is incredible, and the highlighter honestly has such an incredibly special place in my heart, it is subtle and perfect for the brow bone, however if you want to intensify it on your cheek bone, use some setting spray and see that glow intensify!

E.L.F Instant Lift Brow Pencil

I love looking after my brows and I am very lucky to have quite bushy brows naturally, however I have sparse areas on my eyebrows, so using this is such an easy product, to fill in, to thicken certain parts of my brows up and it’s cheap! It’s £3.00 and so easy to us! If you’re looking for a brow pencil that lasts a long time, doesn’t wear off and leaves your brows looking incredible, then this is the product for you!

E.L.F Moonlight Pearls Baked Highlighter

Since this highlighter was released, I’d put it back at least 7 times, however as soon as I picked it up, I tried to figure out why I kept doing it, because honestly this highlighter is stunning! It’s such a gorgeous glow, and it looks slightly like glitter on the skin, but it shimmers and glows so incredibly! I love it so much.

It looks slightly like a wet glow, but as long as I shimmer and glow, I honestly don’t care, this highlighter is stunning! Being a highlighter addict, I feel like we all need this in our collection!

E.L.F Precision Multi Blender Massager Makeup Brush

This is probably one of the oddest brushes I’d ever used but honestly it one of my go to foundation brushes right now! It really helps to spread the foundation evenly all over the face without removing all your foundation and leaving you with streaks over your face. Not only that it helps to get the most coverage out of my foundation! One thing that I do know about this brush is the fact that it helps to get the foundation into ever corner of your face, especially around your nose!

E.L.F Ultimate Kabuki Brush

I love a kabuki brush especially this one! It allows you to create the greatest contour and you don’t have to worry about loose bristles, chunky contour and the brush makes everything really easy! The bristles are super soft on the skin too, which is always something I look for in a brush!
