6 Happy Things – Autumn Has Arrived

Well if Autumn isn’t in full swing by now, I don’t know when it will be! I’ve bought new slippers, I’ve got all the candles out and I’m appreciating getting cosy more and more everyday. I’ve said this many a time over the last few weeks, I’m really appreciating being able to get cosy, I mean it’s the best feeling after what feels like the longest day ever right? Anyway I’ve had a lot of happy things going on recently, even though life hasn’t been the easiest lately. Ready to find out more? Of course you are.

I try not to talk about the negative too much on social media, I have been pulling back from my social media lately, I’ve got a whole blog post on why, but that won’t be posted just yet. Life is never easy, there is always something that is made to challenge you, that is made to make you stronger. That is what I’ve been going through lately anyway! So onto the happy things!

1. Pumpkin Picking

I’ve wanted to do this for so long and at the weekend, I finally went pumpkin picking with my amazing friend Michelle from Petite Tea Lover, I literally adore her so much, she is such an angel! We took some blog photos (she took the one that is at the beginning of this post – isn’t she fab!) and even bought some pumpkins!

2. Comfort Food

Now that the weather is getting colder I’m definitely ready for all the comfort food. The other day Paul made the most amazing shepherds pie, and honestly it tasted incredible! I’ve never tasted anything like it before! It was so good, and let’s be honest we need all the comfort food in this weather.

3. Long Walks With My Husband

Paul and I have been going for long walks in the evening, I find it really helps, especially when I am trying to chill out in the evening. I mean as long as I’m wrapped up, I’m super happy!

4. Wagamama’s.

On Saturday I went to Wagamama’s with Michelle, and I already adore it anyway, and I tried the vegatsu just before my birthday and loved it, and I remember how much I loved it when I had it on Saturday, I mean I would happily have that and the steamed mushroom buns forever. I mean they taste so good!

5. Rewatching Making A Murderer

The new series is back in under 2 weeks, and I’m so ready for the new series! I loved it so much when it first came out and I wanted to make sure that I was refreshed before I watch the second series! I’m so ready for it though, I feel like I’ve been waiting for the second series since I finished watching the first one. It’s one of those programmes where everyone has an opinion on whether they’re guilty or not. I love a good chat about it!

6. Blog Post Planning

I’ve had such a fire inside of me to create new content lately, I’ve been overflowing with ideas, things that I want to write and having basically 0 time to do it. So lately I’ve been really pushing the boat out to make sure I can cram in all that writing time! I’ve got so much that I want to get done, I feel like I have found my groove again & it feels amaaaazing!

What’s been going on for you? Have you had any happy things go on over the last few weeks?

I am not usually an Autumn fan, but I do love feeling cosy and warm.
