Make Up Revolution have been one of the most talked about brands lately, with their new releases it’s a brand that has been on everyone’s lips. To be 100% honest, I’m all about affordable make up, I mean don’t get me wrong I like some high end make up, but let’s be real here, I can’t afford to buy high end make up all the time. I want to have stuff that is good value for money, that works with me, that is cruelty free and vegan and looks amazing. So are they 100% worth it?
When people think affordable beauty they might be quick to think that it isn’t great quality, and I could probably understand that because I am pretty sure that back when I was a teen if it wasn’t dream matte mouse (seriously though why did I think that was a good look?) then I probably wasn’t going to use it.
Make up revolution have literally upped their game in recent years! They are offering some seriously incredible products, that are pretty much under £10. One thing that is missing from this photo is my beloved SophX highlighter palette.
They do everything from highlighters (honestly I couldn’t love their highlighters more they’re just so beautiful) to foundations to brow products, to concealers, honestly they’re some one of the best brands on the high street.
I know that “Dupe Gate” went round about a year ago with Make Up Revolution, and people voicing their opinions about brands creating cheaper dupes of expensive brands. To be honest I’m all for dupes, I love dupes, dupes allow make up to be accessible for everyone! Make up is there for us to experiment with, to enjoy, to express ourselves, to give me a confidence boost and to just have fun with. That is what make up does for me, and Make Up Revolution are amazing!
Make Up Revolution Pro 4k Rose Gold Highlighter – I adore this highlighter so much, it is my go to highlighter & for £8 it is an incredibly buttery highlighter. I talked about it in my April favourites a little more in depth with some swatches (click here) and honestly you won’t regret it!
Make Up Revolution Pro Microblading Precision Eyebrow Pencil – Again I spoke about this before in my April favourites, and now that I’ve got the hang of how to use it, it is one of the most amazing brow products ever! It is super pigmented just make sure that you’re not too heavy handed
Make Up Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation – This foundation really has become one of my favourites for when I don’t really want to put a lot of make up on, and I want something to give me some coverage quickly. This is perfect for when you’re in a rush, you’ve overslept and you want to feel a little more human – or if you’re me don’t want to scare people away without make up on. You know.
Make Up Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer – The cheapest and the best concealer I’ve used. I was using a different one before this that honestly gave me the worst break outs ever, so when this came out that was full coverage, that was absolutely amazing on the skin and looks incredible. I’m in my absolute element. I’m so happy.
Make Up Revolution has changed the game when it comes to make up, it has paved the way for people who want to have expensive products on a budget, that are incredible quality! They have become one of my favourite brands.

I love the look of the highlight palette. Have never tried this brand before, it sounds fab. So I should really get into experimenting with high street makeup more (and makeup in general), I’m just so lazy!

Make up revolution is my favorite! its cheap and the products are just wonderful! i have a few of their chocolate palettes and their beautiful unicorn highlighter! not that i know what to do with it haha its just pretty

I get so conflicted about Makeup Revolution. Their products are good but I do find it tricky that they so blatantly rip off other brands – I haven’t quite decided in my head where duping stops and total copying takes over. Argh it’s a tough one. I may do a post about it. There are obv benefits in making makeup affordable for everyone though.

I totally agree, from my point of view as well, some of the brands that they do make their own version of are vegan friendly whereas the other brands aren’t and they test on animals so I think it is about balance to be honest. xxxxx
Obsessed with their concealer at the moment & I loooove their contour palette. Although it’s a bit big I always have to put it in my handbag for on the go – The lightest contour shade is perfect for my pale skin haha!
