January Beauty Favourites 2019

It’s kind of mad to think that we are 2 months into 2019, I mean I’m pretty sure we were just talking about all the plans we had for 2019 last week? Am I right? Anyway, this post is a little overdue (sincere apologies) but here are my beauty favourite from January. It’s a bit of a high end favourites this month, however that doesn’t mean I’ve turned my back on my love for drugstore beauty. I got some amazing bargains over the last month and a half, so let’s get into the beauty products!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter In The Shade Opal

I’m pretty sure I’ve talked about my love for this highlighter before, and we all know it wouldn’t be a favourites without at least the mention of something that makes my skin glow. I’ve had this a bit of a while now, and because it’s so expensive I hate to use it too much, but I’ve been pretty much using it everyday over the last week and the glow is just so perfect. It is perfect on my skin and as soon as the light catches my skin it’s like an aaahhh moment. It’s a little pricy but if you want a gorgeous highlight it’s so worth it. On my skin tone as well, I don’t get a grey shadow which is something to note!

Pixi By Petra MatteLast Liquid Lipstick – Pastel Petal

I’ve heard so much chatter about Pixi’s liquid lips, that I had to buy one. I got mine in the shade pastel pink, and honestly I’ve been really surprised by it. It’s nourishing and long lasting without drying my lips out and the shades are super pigmented! I also really love the applicator! It allows you to get your cupids bow perfectly with the teardrop. I’m definitely very impressed!

Too Faced Peach Lip Scrub

We all know how much I love the Too Faced peach range, I actually have quite a lot of the items, so when I went to Bluewater with my husband I couldn’t not buy one! I use a lip scrub al the time to keep them in tip top condition, and this one is becoming a firm favourite! Besides the fact that it smells absolutely heavenly, I love the way it makes my lips feel and unlike some scrubs it’s not drying but exfoliates so perfectly!

Kat Von D Mini Holographic Highlighter – Teal Aquamarine 

I’ve not had a lot of experience with Kat Von D, however I saw this when I was out shopping and I couldn’t say no. It’s beautiful! You can use it as an inner corner highlight (it’s incredible) or you can use it over the top of eyeshadow, I actually did that and it added so much dimension and colour to my look. You can literally use this however you please and it gives the most gorgeous glow. You will adore it.

The Body Shop Mint Mattifying Face Mist

I have actually talked about these before, but over the last few weeks my forehead has decided to get really really oily, so I’ve been using this during the day to keep the oil at bay. It works perfectly. It also doesn’t mess with my make up either, it keeps it set and looking fabulous. The one thing I was worried about was it drying my skin out because it’s a mattifying spray, but it doesn’t, it’s the perfect balance!

Illamasqua Beyond Veil Skin Glowing Gel

This is my absolute bargain, I got this in T K Maxx for £9 and I keep going back to it. It’s such a gorgeous primer and leaves your skin glowing, not only that I find that my make up goes on smoother. If you’re the kind of person that loves a good glow with your base you won’t regret buying this one. I’ve got to admit the spoon that comes with it was a lot to get used to, but the good thing is, you don’t need a lot of product to get your skin primed and looking amazing!

Those are my January favourites, it’s a bit of a high end favourites, but if you fancy treating yourself after an extra long January then you totally should!
