You’re Doing An Amazing Job & You Are Enough

Lately I’ve been in such a good place, I honestly cannot complain, things have been good, my mental health has been great, but in life there will always be people that will try to rain on your parade. I mean we live in the UK what do we expect right? It rains all the time. But for some reason some people feel the need to just make an awful comment about what someone is doing. As long as they’re not hurting anyone surely that should be all that matters. This is a reminder that you’re doing an amazing job and you are enough.

Over the years my confidence has been so low, it has been so painful for me, people telling me that I can’t do this, I will never achieve what I want to, and all of that but do you know what screw that. I’ve been taunted a lot for my hard work that I put into my blog, it happened not so long ago, because I was taking a blog photo – just a flat lay, I was editing a photo after taking it (pretty sure it was coffee I had taken a photo of) basically say oh looks who is trying to be the next Zoella.

Ugh. Now they didn’t exactly say it quietly. It was clear who they were talking about because they were pointing at me and looking in my direction.

Now unfortunately I wasn’t exactly feeling like I could say exactly what I wanted, my anxiety was crippling me and when my anxiety is that bad I don’t do well in those kinds of situations. I let it slide.

But then it got me thinking, why would they feel the need to compare me to Zoella, they don’t know me, they don’t know what I do or how hard I work. To sit there and make me feel like I’m less of a person, that I’m not good enough.

I honestly don’t think people understand how much words can hurt, but I’m using it as motivation. Motivation to get to where I want to be, motivation to show the world what my blog is about and just enjoy my blog.

There are some incredible people around me that honestly make me feel like I can take on the entire world, the people who make me feel like everything will be okay because they see exactly what I’m capable of.

To the people who feel like they’re not enough:

Honestly we all have days where our head is telling us we can’t do this, we are not capable of the amazing things that could happen to us when we put in the hard work.

You are capable of anything and anything and you are doing an amazing job. Insert the Kris Jenner quote “you’re doing amazing sweetie” because even though those words can hurt, hard work pays off.

There is always going to be someone who tries to bring you down, but having people around you who know you and believe in you is so important. The people who make those comments probably don’t even know you, don’t understand what you do, and in my case, don’t even know your name.

What you do is amazing, you’re an amazing person inside and out and I know that you can do this.

Stay positive, be strong and above all, do what makes you happy.

    Such an important post.
The less you care, the happier you are is a quote I like to remind myself of often.
No one has the right to get any of us down, out of probably stubborness more than anything I refuse to left them because they win otherwise and that just can’t happen.
    They’re not worthy.
