4 Clean Vegan Deodorants You Need

Natural deodorants are becoming more and more popular and its something I’ve looked into a lot, especially the ingredients. Finding a natural deodorant that works for you can be difficult and a journey! However I feel like there are 4 that I’ve regularly used and gone back to that are tried and true favourites.

One thing to remember about transitioning to using a natural deodorant is that it won’t start working instantly. It will take your body a few weeks to adapt to a natural deodorant.

Drunk Elephant Sweet Pitti Deodorant Cream

I feel like lately I’ve spoken a lot about Drunk Elephant. Their products are truly some of my favourites because:

  • they’re vegan and cruelty free
  • have no drying alcohols, silicones, fragrance or dyes.

This deodorant is so good because if you get razor rash, this cream is really soothing. If you’re a fan of cherry bakewells, then you will love the smell of this product.

As someone who works out regularly I need a deodorant to cope with that. This deodorant did cope well and left me smelling just as fabulous as I did before I started my workout.

Price

This deodorant is £13, which is quite expensive in comparison to other deodorants, but there are some benefits. They include:

  • no nasties within the product
  • amazing scent
  • a little goes a long way.

Salt Of The Earth Pure Aura Deodorant

This deodorant took a bit of getting used to, because it isn’t like a ‘normal aerosol spray’. It is a bit of a damp spray, but it really dries down quickly and doesn’t leave you with that wet feeling under your arms.

Benefits of this deodorant include:

  • refreshing scent and feeling
  • good for sensitive skin
  • you can buy refills
  • long lasting
  • doesn’t leave white marks.

Price

This deodorant is a bit cheaper at £5.99, and if lavender and vanilla isn’t your kind of scent there are other options including unscented. I definitely feel like this is worth the price because it really leaves your underarms feeling so lovely!

Salt Of The Earth Classic Deodorant Crystal

Another Salt Of The Earth product, but they really do some of my favourites. This one is a little different because you have to dampen it before you apply it. Even if I do sweat, I know that I won’t smell and it is even reduced.

The other benefits of using this deodorant include:

  • great for sensitive skin
  • plastic can be recycled
  • good for travelling with
  • reduces my sweating.

Price

For £4.99 I feel like this is 100% worth it. For me it is one that I really love for summer, it helps to reduce any sweating and I also don’t need to worry about any nasty odour.

Briogeo B Well Tea Tree & Eucalyptus Clean Deodorant

I really love Briogeo products! I’ve shared some of their products before and even though they tend to be a bit more expensive they’re worth it. This product also doesn’t disappoint! Compared to the others that I’ve shared, this is more of a waxy consistency.

It is completely vegan friendly, and leaves your armpits feeling absolutely refreshed. Even though it does have tea tree in it, it isn’t overpowering on the skin and really does work well with whatever other scent you’re wearing.

Benefits of using this deodorant include:

  • soothing on the skin
  • helps fight bacteria
  • refreshing scent
  • works well with my workouts.

Price

It is the most expensive at £13.50, however, I feel like if you struggle with white marks from other deodorants, you will absolutely love this.

The salt of the earth sounds great! I’m not sure I could pay the price of the higher ones though. I hope these types of products get to the point where they can be on sale for less!

  • I’ve never really used a vegan deodorant. I had a sample of one once, the type of one that you have to put on with your fingers but I really didn’t get on with it (I sweat a lot haha). I’d love to try one of these!

  • This is such a great selection! I have always struggled with additives in deodorants as I have sensitive skin and when I swapped for a vegan deodorant it was so so great! I have never tried Salt of the earth and didn’t know drunk elephants did them! Thank you for sharing x

Thank you for sharing. I’ve tried a rock deo before but couldn’t make it work. I’ll have to try the salt of the earth one.

  • Lisa says:

I had a natural deodorant in an old Birchbox box but couldn’t get on with it. Maybe it’s time to try again with another brand though.

  • Claire Mac says:

Thank you for sharing these. I had absolutely no idea that you’re body has to adjust to a natural deodorant. I really like the sound of the tea tree one. I’ve very nearly ran out of my deodorant, so I’m definitely going to look into going a bit more natural.
