4 Products You Need To Try From Ark Skincare*

*Contains PR Samples

As I get older, I recognise the importance of looking after my skin. As a teen I really wish I had looked after my skin more, but now I’m trying to make up for it. I was sent these gorgeous products from Ark Skincare, to see what the fuss is all about.

They have so many different ranges catering for various different skincare concerns, now my biggest skincare concern is my spot prone skin, and also the fact that I have very large pores.

Ark Skincare Age Protect Cleanser

I’ve always felt like a good cleanser really does make the world of difference when it comes to skincare regimes, and I’ve really loved using this one. It creates an amazing lather on the skin when you first apply it, and it is one of those cleansers that clears away impurities without drying my skin out.

I also have combination skin which means I really need a cleanser that works with my skin, and the one thing I loved about this cleanser is it didn’t make any dry patches that I had or irritated my sensitive skin.

The cleanser itself is £25.00, which might seem expensive, however, a little does go such a long way, it helps calm and sooth any blemishes that I do have, and works to prevent new spots popping up.

Ark Skincare Age Protect Vitality Moisturiser

I’m always so fussy when it comes to moisturisers, mainly because there are so many things I require in a moisturiser to keep my skin as healthy as possible. This one has become a new favourite of mine very quickly.

This moisturiser is definitely thicker than one I would normally use, only because where I do have such spot prone skin, thicker moisturisers tend to make my blemishes particularly unhappy, however it has worked wonders on my face. It doesn’t feel heavy on my skin, and leaves my face feeling super hydrated without leaving a residue behind. It also works nicely under a primer before applying make up.

The moisturiser is £35, which again is on the high end side, however, I have only been using a small amount of this moisturiser and it is going such a long way and leaves your sin with the start of a perfect base.

Ark Skincare Skin Protector SPF30 Primer

Like my moisturisers, I can be particularly fussy with my primers, and this primer has been one I’ve really enjoyed lately and I reach for more and more.

When the primer comes out of the pump, it genuinely felt quite thick, but as soon as I massaged it into the skin, it worked wonders. It wasn’t heavy on the skin, my skin looked brightened with some added nourishment before foundation.

I get a lot of pigmentation around my nose, I have large pores and my blemishes have bee quite red, but as soon as I apply this and let it sink into my skin, it leaves my skin looking so good and gives the perfect base for your make up routine.

The primer itself is £36, which is on the higher end of the scale, however like the products before this one, they go such a long way a small amount and does so much for your skin. It also has SPF in it which is one of the reasons I continue to go back to this primer.

Ark Skincare Skin Perfector Clearing Serum

Blemishes will always be the bane of my life, especially with my spot prone skin, however, since I’ve been using this serum, it has really helped.

I’ve had a couple of really stubborn spots on the right side of my face over the last few months, they basically won’t go away, so I’ve been adding this to them of a morning and evening and they are finally getting smaller and clearing. I’ve also noticed that my pores look smaller and my skin is slowly looking and feeling much happier. The other thing I’ve noticed is that my skin isn’t as oily as it once was, which again is really helping with my blemishes.

The serum is £45, which is the most expensive product I’ve tried, and it works wonders. You only need a small amount of the serum, you can either add it to your moisturiser, or you can apply it to the places where you need it the most. I’ve tried both, but my favourite is to just add it to my moisturiser so it works all over.

Ark Skincare are definitely one of  the more high end brands, however, I’m loving their products. If you’re looking for high end skincare that works wonders for your skin, I would definitely recommend them. They have so much to offer and so many products for specific skincare concerns.

I will definitely be trying more from their range!

What are your thoughts? Will you be trying this range? Let me know in the comments.
