March was definitely an odd month, with coronavirus, the lock down, not going about my regular activities like I normally would has been a difficult adjustment. But I’ve tried to focus on the positives, this is all for our own good and for the good of our NHS. So I’ve been focusing on a lot of self care, things to make sure I’m looking after not only my physical but my mental health. Pamper sessions have become a regular thing for me too. So here are my favourite products from the last month.

Superdrug Layering Lab In Paradise
I feel like I’ve talked about these fragrances before, but I’ve really enjoyed using this one over the last few weeks. It always smells absolutely amazing, and with the weather finally perking up and working from home, I’ve been trying to surround myself with scents that make me feel like I’m in the sunshine and enjoying life.
The spray itself lasts so long when I apply it onto my moisturised skin, and I love anything that smells like vanilla! With the spray only being only £3.99, I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
E.L.F Skincare Super Tone
I actually wrote a whole post dedicated to E.L.F skincare and my thoughts on it, and I actually really enjoyed the whole range, I thought it was value for money, worked well on my skin and had something for everyone. The super tone has definitely become a staple in my skincare routine, I use it all of the time and it has really helped my blemish prone skin.
For £8 I honestly don’t think you can go wrong with it, and it works wonders on my skin! If you fancy trying their skincare, have a read of my blog post to find out if E.L.F Skincare is worth the money.

Ark Skincare Age Protect Vitality Moisturiser*
This product is one that I have enjoyed so much ever since I started using it. It is a thicker moisturiser that you can feel working on your skin, and doesn’t leave a residue once it has been moisturised into your skin. If you, like me are prone to blemishes, I would definitely recommend this, this one has really helped my skin and any spots that I do have, it has helped to make them less angry.
This is more of a high end product, however, if you’re looking to splurge and treat yourself, this product should definitely be added to your list. If you fancy seeing more of what Ark have to offer, check out my blog post detailing the 4 things you need to try.
Tropic Whipped Body Velvet*
I get incredibly dry skin on my arms and legs, so having an intense moisturiser always works much better for me. I’ve spoken about my love of Tropic so much on my blog and I absolutely love the way this works on my skin. Now this is a super rich moisturiser so you do not need a lot of it. As soon as it warms up in my hands and is applied to my skin it starts to sink in and leaves your body feeling super soft. The reason I love this product so much is the scent. It smells absolutely divine. Like I said previously, I love anything that smells like vanilla and this honestly smells heavenly.
If like me you struggle with dry skin, this will be perfect for you. I have slightly sensitive skin due to eczema and I have found that this does not aggravate it which is wonderful! You only need a small amount of this product to give you such an intense moisture boost. The moisturiser itself is £28.00 but it lasts so long and you only need a small amount of it

Antipodes Kiwi Seed Gold Luminous Eye Cream*
I received this about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and I’ve not tried anything from Antipodes before, but when I saw this in the box I was super excited. I get a lot of puffiness around my eyes and I wanted to see what this would do and over the last 2 weeks, I’ve noticed a difference. My eyes are a lot less puffy while it also sooths the skin, it brightens my eye area and my eye feels very hydrated which is something I always need in my life.
Overall I would definitely recommend this eye cream as I can definitely see a difference in my eye area even after a couple of weeks.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm in Vanilla
Now I love a good lip balm and I always need something that is quite intense because I get very dry and chapped lips. I’ve been using this for a while and honestly it is a wonder product. You do not need a lot of this product as it does spread very easily onto the lips, and it is also a very thick balm. Even though it is thick, it doesn’t feel heavy on the lips, it gives your lips all of the hydration that it may need as well as feeling weightless.
My lips are much happier, aren’t chapped and are super hydrated. The balm is £19.50 which sounds expensive for a lip balm, but you only need a pea sized amount to cover your lips, and it works wonders.
So these are my favourites for March, have you spotted any products you would like to try? Let me know in the comments!

Ooh, whipped body velvet sounds like something I need when my hands get dried out from weeding and doing dishes under hot water. 🙂
I’m wondering if it’s time to take a look at investing in some kind of skincare products. I’ve never really messed around with them because I don’t have incredibly problematic skin and so I’ve been putting it off out of fear. However, of course I want to maintain the health of my skin. What kind of skincare products would you recommend a newbie started off on?
That lip butter looks really good! I’ll be on the lookout for it (especially as it’s vanilla!)
These all sound lovely! I especially like the sound of the vanilla body mist, I’m in need of a new body spray and it’s super cheap too! Thanks for sharing these ☺️

These sound amazing, especially the eye cream because I get puffy eyes. I also love the sound of the lip butter because I get very dry and chapped lips too so I am constantly applying lip balm. It sounds like this would keep them hydrated for longer!
I am a bit familiar with the ELF brand but not the other ones you mentioned, always a pleasure to discover new brands. Thanks for sharing! x
Oh snap girl!! I tried lots of this stuff out in March and I am in all agreeance with you. That Antipodes gold leaf eye cream has been a serious game changer for me! I’m now a massive ARK Skincare lover! And, always, I love ELF!
