So Eco – The Make Up Tools Your Routine Needs*

Contains PR samples

New make up brushes are always super exciting for me, and today is no exception. So I received some new brushes to try from a brand that I’ve actually heard quite a bit about and not only that they’re a brand that I would wholeheartedly stand by in terms of their beliefs, including the fact that their brushes are vegan friends, made from recycled and sustainable materials and the cherry on top of that vegan cake – the materials they’re made from are compostable, recyclable and bio-degradable. In terms of branding that is 100% up my street – but how did the tools apply my make up?

So Eco Blending Sponge

Let’s start with the blending sponge! I have always applied my make up with a blending sponge, I’ve also used so many in that time I would like to think I know a good sponge when I use one. This one is really good. It does feel firmer than my other sponges before I dampen it, but it blends my make up out so perfectly. It’s super soft on the skin and it makes it so easy to blend my foundation and concealer out!

So Eco Stippling Brush

When I saw this I actually thought this would be a really good foundation brush. I have quite a few that are my go to brushes for foundation and because it was quite a soft brush and it allows me to get into al the creases of my face. It actually said about applying blush with it, which I did try, and it did look nice but I much prefer it as a foundation brush! It applied my foundation perfectly and also didn’t suck up too much product into the bristles. I was super impressed with this brush!

So Eco Blush Brush

Following on from the stippling brush we have the blush brush. Now I’ve literally fallen in love with the rosy cheek look over the last few months and I’ve been using blush more and more. It’s one of those items in a make up routine that never goes out of style and looks absolutely effortless. This brush is so perfect for that, it distributes the product evenly onto the face, I’ve also used a few different blushes one was more of a cream the others were powder and all of them using this brush worked perfectly.

So Eco Bronzer Brush

I have a strong love affair with bronzer lately, especially when the weather is so bloody awful, I want to look sunkissed! So, this bronzer brush is so fluffy and so dense, that it makes blending out bronzer an absolute dream come true. It’s super soft on the skin and the other thing I love about it is it doesn’t leave the bronzer looking patchy! It’s become one of my favourite brushes to use!

So Eco Eye Duo Brush Set

Finally we have the Eye Duo Brush Set, this includes 2 double ended brushes to shape, shade, line and smudge to complete your eye look! I’ve actually taken these brushes away for the weekend and they’re so easy to use! Each brush offers various different things, 1 brush has a flat but soft end which makes packing eyeshadow onto the eyelid perfect and then the other has a sharp angled liner end perfect for creating on point eye shadow. The other has large fluffy bristles perfect for blending with the other side having an angled fluffy edge which is perfect for diffusing edges. My absolute favourite is the angled liner, it’s quite a stiff brush but allows you get the sharp line that you need to complete a look.

Overall I’ve found these brushes to be amazing quality, super soft, no shedding even after a wash and also perfect for creating an amazing make up look! If you’re looking for brushes that will last but ones that are also on a budget, these are the brushes for you! You can buy them on the Look Fantastic website and various other retail outlets!
