8 Of The Best Vegan Brow Products

Brows are definitely such a trend right now, but find the right products that work for you is just as important. Gone are the days where people wanted thin drawn on brows, but we want full and fluffy brows. I’m lucky to have quite long and thick brows, but they can be sparse in places, so for me I need to fill my brows in and hold them in place.

Here are 8 of my favourite products you should try today.

Brow Pencils and Stains

I use a brow pencil or stain on a daily basis, and I tend to rotate depending on what kind of look I’m going for, if I want a subtle arch or a full brow. I have products that work absolute wonders. A good brow day can make the world of difference.

Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil

This has been a go to for me since before the pandemic. I went into John Lewis and tested my perfect shade and I fell in love with it.

It has a triangular tip which allows you to sculpt your brows and fill in with fine lines. It is easily buildable on the eyebrows and leaves your brows looking fabulous.

This is the most expensive at Β£33 but I’m a sucker for Hourglass packaging.

Urban Decay Brow Blade

The brow blade is a double ended pencil and ink stain which makes it unique.

The first step to using this product is using the waterproof pencil, which allows you to shape your brows. The next step is using the ink stain which allows you to create hair like strokes.

This product is slightly cheaper at Β£20 and if you want a product that gives a natural shading to your brows then this is the product for you.

Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Microshade Brow Pencil

I’ve talked about this brow pencil a lot lately and honestly I’m just so impressed with the product.

With it’s ultra-fine 0.9mm tip, it allows you to create brow like hairs and share and fill your brows in. It is such a pigmented pencil and it also comes with a spoolie on the end of the wand.

The way it allows you to create such tiny brow-like strokes is genuinely incredible. It took me a bit of time to get used to though due to the shape and I spend a while filling my brows in!

The price on this is Β£15 and I genuinely feel like it is worth the money. I have it in 2 shades as well.

NYX Cosmetics Micro Brow Pencil

NYX honestly do some amazing products, and this doesn’t disappoint.

This brow pencil also has a small tip which allows you to create fine hairs that look natural and it’s also very easy to use. It also has such amazing staying power, it doesn’t budge and leaves your brows looking amazing!

If you’re just starting out with brows, this one is a really good place to start. For Β£10 you honestly cannot go wrong. It leaves your brows looking amazing!

E.L.F Ultra Precise Brow Pencil

E.L.F has become one of my favourite brands, I love all of their products!

I have previously loved their Instant Lift Brow Pencil, so I thought I’d try the Ultra Precise Brow Pencil instead and it doesn’t disappoint.

This pencil again is a micro thin pencil, however it isn’t as thin as the Huda Beauty pencil.

For Β£5 though it is such a good product, I have the shade brunette, but it does have a warm undertone. You can fill in those sparse areas and gives your brows an amazing feathered look.

Brow Gels

NYX Control Freak Brow Gel

Looking for a clear brow gel? Look no further. This brow gel can really help to keep tame your brows.

I have very long brows, so finding products that hold my brows in place. It holds them in place for hours and doesn’t leave them feeling crunchy!

For Β£7, I honestly cannot fault it, I tend to put a little powder over the top as I have to use quite a bit, and sometimes it can leave a slight white cast.

Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Full N Fluffy Fiber Gel

I bought this the other week and it is honestly my favourite products. The way that it gives your brows this amazing volume, the way it tames and tints is incredible.

You can use it with or without a brow pencil, and if you’re in a rush, you can use it without and givesΒ  your brows instant volume. It is also very lightweight.

The gel is Β£16, and comes with a very tiny wand, which works wonders on the brows.

Milk Makeup Kush Fiber Brow Gel

This brow gel is the most expensive, but it’s also so worth it. The shorter wand allows you get more of a precise shape and also doesn’t make your brows go rock solid.

The way the product distributes product as well makes it easy to create such a lovely swoop of colour without making your brows look darker.Β I use this on days where I want my brows to be tame, without putting a lot of effort into it.

It is Β£21 for this brow gel, but if you’re looking to spend a little bit extra on a brow gel, I would definitely recommend this one. Milk are such a fabulous brand too!

These are my favourite brow products for various different brow types and looks. You can find something for everyone here.

I don’t do anything with me brows except the occasional pluck. But I have been thinking about it recently! I do prefer to use vegan products so it’s so nice to see a vegan only list! I’m a sucker for urban decay products so that one will probably be the one for me!

My brows are so sparse that I eventually caved earlier on this year and got them microbladed! Yes it was expensive, yes it hurt, but worth it for me. If I hadn’t, the Huda Beauty ones would have been my picks πŸ™‚ x

I haven’t tried any of the products you’ve mentioned before. I’m currently using an Avon one which I love but I do really like the sound of a couple of these.

I have long thick fluffy eyebrows that use to bother me so much when thin eyebrows were the trend! But I’m glad I didn’t thin them down now. I feel eyebrows are one of our main features especially with all the mask wearing, the first thing people see now is your eyes and eyebrows. These are great recommendations will definitely look into them thank you x

  • My brows are a problem area for me so thank you for sharing your thoughts on these products.

I love the NYX brow pencil & gel, definitely need to try the others out. My eyebrows are currently microbladed so I don’t actually need to fill them in unless I’m going on a night out or even just for drinks where I want my brows slightly stronger and defined x

It’s as though you red my mind! I keep saying I need to buy some brow gel but keep forgetting! I always opt for vegan and cruelty free brands these days, so I really appreciate your post. Thank you!

  • I love the NYX eyebrow pencil. It’s been my go to for such a long time now, although I am on the very last dregs of it now. I love the shape of the Hourglass one, I had a similar one from Sleek which I loved. I might repurchase actually as the shape was so easy to work with! Thanks for the reminder!
