The Best Pillow Spray For A Deep Sleep

AD | Gifted Items

Sleep sprays are definitely an important step in my night time routine. Sleep is such an important step in your body repairing itself and a good nights sleep can honestly makes the world of difference.

I am a relatively light sleeper so the smallest sounds tend to wake me up which is an absolute pain so finding something that helps me to get into the right headspace to fall asleep, as well as help relax me is so important.

So how can this spray help you to relax and get an amazing nights sleep?

About the pillow mist

This sleep spray is from Tropic Skincare, and a brand that I rave about all of the time. They’re a brand that I trust and know that they will do exactly what they say they will. It is filled with 7 premium essential oils, including lavender which will help you to fall off to sleep which is one of the things I need.

How to use

In the evening I will spray 2 – 3 pumps on my duvet or pillow, and have a relaxing wind down routine. I will also use the roll-on on my temples and I will always notice a massive difference.

The only thing you should do is use the mist on your skin, the roll-on can be used on skin, but not the mist.

So what are the overall benefits of using a sleep spray and why should you use one?

Benefits

  • helps to relax and unwind
  • helps you to drift off to sleep
  • has eucalyptus in the spray to help open airways (perfect if you have a cold!)
  • helps promote a more restful sleep
  • it’s cruelty free and vegan
  • calming scent, but not overpowering
  • promotes an overall calming environment before bed.

I’ve also found that when I am having a very anxious evening and I cannot get my mind to switch off, then having my pillow spray really helps to relax.

I’ve noticed that compared to when I don’t use my sleep spray and when I do  sleep a lot more deeply. My Fitbit tracks the quality of my sleep, and I find it really helpful to see the quality of sleep that I have.

When I do use my sleep spray there is a lot less awake time and also tossing and turning which is an added bonus for me.

Onto the price, now this spray is actually very budget friendly, it is £20 for a 70ml bottle, which in my opinion is very good in price. It also has a glass bottle which is something else I look for as I really want to cut down on the amount of plastic that I use.

Final thoughts

In my opinion this sleep spray is definitely worth the money, it is friendly on your bank balance for the amount you get in a bottle, it promotes a calming environment and overall helps me get the best nights sleep possible.

Oh, I can imagine this is such a lovely scent combo to have lull you to sleep! I typically utilize my essential oil diffuser, but sometimes I wish I had something a little simpler – and that’s where a spray like this would come in so handy! Great review!

Ooh I love this. I’ve been using a ThisWorks sleep spray which has been pretty good but I’m not sure how much is left so maybe this will be my next stop. Anything that helps you switch off, especially on an anxiety heavy evening, is always a bonus for sure. Thanks for the recommendation.

  • Richie says:

Hi Amie. I’ve never had any trouble either getting to sleep or staying asleep. That said, I find it really interesting how sprays like this can help to promote sleep in those that have difficulties with their sleep routines. Does the spray itself somehow make you sleepy or is it the fact that it aids relaxation that therefore makes it easier to get to sleep?

  • I never used to be a light sleeper, once I was out I’d be out and nothing would wake me up. However, since last summer I wake up about 4 times a night, so maybe I’ll give this pillow spray a try

  • Love this idea of this. I’ve never tried a pillow spray before, but have always heard rave reviews about the one from This Works. I didn’t know Tropic did one, but this sounds lovely. I think even the packaging makes it look like an indulgent nights sleep!
