8 Must Have Vegan Lipsticks from MUA*

Contains PR samples

I’ve started to get back into lipsticks lately, I think the fact that the weather is getting colder means it is less time for gloss and more time for lipstick. I’ve previously raved about MUA and how much I love their products, I genuinely feel like they’re so budget friendly and such great quality, that they have become one of the brands that I genuinely adore!

They have now made their lipsticks vegan friendly so here are some swatches of their beautiful lipsticks and why you need to buy them!

Love Letter

This shade is so pretty, and is definitely more my everyday kind of colour because it is such a gorgeous pink/red colour. This lipstick is also a satin finish so unlike with a matte lipstick it is a much more comfortable lipstick to wear everyday. It is really comfortable to wear and it doesn’t feel drying on the lips, it also has amazing coverage. The swatch above is with just one swipe on the colour, and I found that it did last quite well for a satin lipstick, I just needed to touch it up in the centre when I ate or drank.

Heartbreaker

Another absolutely gorgeous everyday shade, it is more on the darker side this lip colour though, but I’m definitely not mad about it! Now that it is autumn if you’re looking for a share that is slightly deeper for everyday then this will be the one for you. This one is in a matte finish but it doesn’t feel drying on the lips and the coverage is amazing! Again this is one swipe and my lips were covered by a gorgeous shade!

Virtue

How gorgeous is this nude? Now if you’re looking for a really muted nude colour then this colour would be perfect for you! I have tried this lip colour and I really like to do an ombre effect with this one. I find that if I put it all over my lips it goes a little bit too light for me personally, however I know so many people will love this shade!

Survivor

Survivor is such a gorgeous vampy burgundy shade that is also in the matte formula, I definitely found that this lip colour was such long wearing on my lips! If you love a good vampy lipstick, then you will really like this one. It is really comfortable on the lips and it really did last well on the lips, it of course did need topping up when I ate, but it was really nice.

Agenda

Agenda is the perfect red lip colour, and especially with the festive season coming up, it is a shade that everyone should have in their make up collection. This is another satin finish lipstick that is absolutely gorgeous on the lips, you will need to top it up like with the other satin lipsticks, but the pigment is definitely there! I’m so impressed with this lip colour.

Carefree Liquid Lipstick

I really liked this liquid lipstick, again it is more of an ombre effect one for me because it is quite dark, but I really like it! It is such a gorgeous burnt red shade. As the liquid lipsticks dried down I did notice  that they did get a little patchy, so if you do love a liquid lip this colour, just do another coat and you will be set! They weren’t really drying, I really liked the formula of these and they did feel comfortable, you just need to build this up with one more coat and then you’re perfect!

Hush Liquid Lipstick

Again another colour I really liked, it was still kind of patchy like Carefree, but I genuinely didn’t mind, mainly because I normally do 2 coats of lipstick anyway but this is such a gorgeous nude brown, and I loved creating an ombred lip colour with this. I actually paired this with loved letter and I loved it. It muted it down a little and the combo of a liquid lip and a satin finish gave me the best of both worlds!

Desire Liquid Lip

This is a really pretty shade, but you do need to build it up a little bit. It was a little more patchy on the dry down than the others, but I still really enjoyed it. If you’re looking for a gorgeous lipstick that is purple and looks stunning on the lips, this is the lipstick for you. Like once you have used 2 coats then they are absolutely perfect.

In terms of pricing? The satin liquid lipsticks above and the matte bullet lipsticks, they’re £1.50. £1.50 for gorgeous lipstick that really does last, I’d definitely recommend them! The liquid lipsticks are £3 and I would definitely still recommend them, I always do 2 coats of a liquid lipstick and the fact that they’re vegan and cruelty free, you can get them in the drug store and they’re so accessible is amazing!

You need to check them out!
