It’s safe to say that this year has been very up and down, there have been amazing highs and very low lows, but that is life and I literally have so much to look forward to over the next few months which I’m super excited about. So what is making me super happy right now? They’re also things that probably make you really happy too…
English Heritage Passes
We recently bought our annual passes because Paul and I literally love going out and having a wander round some castles, I mean it might not be real estate that we can afford but you know it’s gorgeous to walk around, take in all the history, we love it so much!
Independent Coffee Shops
I love finding a good independent coffee shop, they’re gorgeous inside & all of the ones I have been in literally have the best coffee in the world. Michelle and I went to Rochester and visited the Deaf Cat and honestly the interior (which is in the photo above) was super cute and the coffee was so good, I was in my own personal heaven.
New Bedding
I recently bought some new bedding from M & S and I literally feel like I’ve hit my peak I don’t think my adult life can get any better. Mainly because the bedding is so soft and super cosy and I literally feel like I’ve made it.
Time With The People I Love
If the last few weeks have taught me anything it is that time with your loved ones is literally everything. Making memories with the people you love mean the world. It’s so important to make time for them. I recently went all the way up to my Dad’s for his birthday to celebrate with him and he was so happy for us to be there just for a few hours.
Milk Make Up
I’ve been buying so much new make up lately and I’ve still got quite a bit on my to buy list but the things that I’ve tried I’m basically in love with! I’ve recently purchased the Hydro Grip Primer and let me just say it’s an absolute game changer! I’ll be doing a bit of a review on it soon, but for now, go and buy it, it’s amazing!
M&S Clothes
Recently I’ve found myself purchasing more and more from them, I feel like they’ve definitely upped their game when it comes to their clothing options. I got a few bits from Per Una and lots of super nice tops for work, which will be perfect if summer ever arrives!
Changing Up My Feed On Instagram
If you saw my post the other week you will know that I had felt in kind of a funk with my Instagram account. If you fancy reading that post check that out here so I’ve decided to change up my Instagram feed and make myself genuinely feel excited about posting on there again. Instagram was something I loved to post to, and I hated that it became a chore.
Everything Seems To Be Coming Together
Behind the scenes I’ve had a lot going on, which I’m not going to talk about but it’s been really tough, however in other aspects of my life things seem to be coming together. Paul and I are slowly starting to plan things in our future, BB-8 is happy and healthy, things feel like they’re coming together. In other aspects of my life, not so much but in some places, things are going really well
What things genuinely make you happy? Let me know in the comments!

Can 10000% agree with you on independent coffee shops – the atmosphere is always way nicer and you really do have a completely different customer service experience with them as opposed to a chain coffee shop.

New bedding is always a feel-good thing I think! 😀 I also recently bought a small desk fan to put by my laptop as I’ve been getting so hot. It’s made me so happy as it’s really powerful and keeps me cool! 😀 It’s always the small things that make me happy these days. 😀 x

Totally feeling your point about new bedding! I love new homeware more than most purchases (apart from food, that purchase will always be my fave). Might have to have a look at the M&S bedding collection 🙂

I am loving the vibes of this post! Independent coffee shops are great – you’re supporting a local business and promoting a variety of options than just one coffee chain. It is great that you are surrounding yourself with the people you love! They bring you further. I’m glad to hear that things have been going well for you ♥
