The Ultimate Vegan Triple Chocolate Brownie Recipe

I am the kind of person that loves chocolate in any form, bar, cake, brownie, you name it, I’m happy as long as there is some chocolate coming my way. Anyway I haven’t made brownies in a while, my husband really fancied triple chocolate and I thought why not share my favourite triple chocolate recipe with you!

Ingredients – Brownies

Ingredients – Topping/Icing

  • 100g icing sugar
  • 50g margarine
  • 2 tsp soya milk
  • 25g cacao powder

Method – Brownies

  1. Pre-heat the oven to Gas Mark 6/200C/400F.
  2. Start by combining the flour, vanilla yoghurt, milk, brown sugar, agave nectar, salt, cacao powder and baking powder in a mixer. Stop once combined completely.
  3. Slowly hand mix in the roasted cacao nibs so they don’t get crushed.
  4. Crush some of the dark chocolate buttons & white chocolate and combine with the mixture
  5. Line a 6 x 6 baking tin.
  6. Pour in the mix and cook your brownies for 15 minutes.
  7. Leave your brownies to cool for about 1 – 2 hours before adding the topping.

Method – Topping/Icing

  1. Combine the icing sugar and the margarine.
  2. Continue to add more until all the margarine and sugar until fully combined and fluffy.
  3. Now add in the cacao powder and if needed add the milk. I needed a few dashes but not a lot!
  4. Melt some of the vegan white chocolate from the recipe earlier and scatter it over the top of your brownies.
  5. Add in some of the left over buttons underneath and enjoy.

This recipe always goes down super well with my family and the brownies are light and fluffy and full of the chocolately goodness that you want! They also only take 40 minutes to make!

Let me know if you try this recipe! It’s one of my favourites to make and has been a firm favourite since I made the decision to go vegan over 4 years ago now!
