The Ordinary are by far one of the cheapest beauty brands out there, everyone has been raving about this brand forever, I have tried Deciem before which is the umbrella that The Ordinary is under, but the Ordinary has been a new one to me. I’ve been trialling these bits and pieces for a while, some since before Christmas. These products all come in under £10 and they last forever, some I have bought again hence why one bottle looks completely full, but I’m going to talk about why you need to try this brand this year more than anything!

So I’ve got 4 products here, some you might have wanted to try for a while, some you might be thinking like whaaaat is this? With the skincare The Ordinary basically label with ingredients which can be ridiculously confusing, but once you wrap your head around it, it actually works!

Natural Moisturising Factors + HA
I used this just before Christmas and noticed a massive difference in my skin. Where I had drier skin than normal in the colder months I needed something heavy duty but also something that wasn’t going to block my pores as I basically have pores the size of craters! This one really stood up to the challenge, it is quite a thick consistency for a moisturiser which would make you think hold on is this going to clog my pores, but it doesn’t! It is a small yet mighty bottle & for £4.90 how can you go wrong? It works absolutely fabulously under make up too, I use this as my go to skincare for before I start applying make up!
The Ordinary High Coverage Foundation
A good foundation is a staple in my eyes, we all need a good foundation that is cheap and ticks all of the boxes, this one does. It is a high coverage foundation which on some days is exactly what I need and it blends so easily. Sometimes when you get a foundation, it takes a lot of work, a lot of work that you don’t want to do when you’re in a rush! It comes out quite quickly as it is very running but as soon as it goes on the skin you really start to notice the coverage as you blend. It doesn’t take long before you have an amazing coverage foundation! They come in a variety of different shades too so if you’re looking for specific undertones I’m sure you will find it!
Lactic Acid 5% + HA
I’m a fan of peels to be honest, I feel like they can really help your skin, especially if you have dry skin like I do, I mean the struggle is definitely real! I used this in conjunction with the moisturiser during the colder months when my skin was incredibly dry and I noticed hat it revealed healthy and soft skin underneath. I have sensitive skin, which is honestly but I didn’t have any issues, so no irritation or damage, it worked wonderfully. After using it, my skin was glowing, and my make up went on flawlessly without any worry. If you need a stronger one, then the 10% is available!
Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
As someone who gets some of the most painful breakouts known to man, this stuff is an absolute godsend. Over Christmas when my blemishes were really painful this stuff really helped, I could feel it working from the first application! Not only is it good for your blemishes, but it is also fantastic for improving the texture of your skin, I’ve noticed my pores even look smaller and overall just brighten your skin! My skin looks so healthy when using it, with the build up effect of the serum, it will work wonders on your skin!
I can’t wait to try more from The Ordinary, they’re an incredible brand!

I feel like such an awful blogger because I’m still yet to try anything by The Ordinary, which shocks even myself considering how affordable they are and how amazing everyone raves on about their products being.. 😍 The foundation is definitely first on my list because I am always a full coverage gal and this sounds perfect! 🙊
Don’t be silly, to be honest it has taken me a while to try certain brands! This brand I think you would absolutely love! xxxx
I really need to get the ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% asap. I am using the glossier one at the moment, but that one is so much cheaper! :O

It’s so good on the skin, I feel like it works so well and leaves my skin feeling amazing! xxxx
I have seen a few bloggers talk about The Ordinary recently. I have never tried them but I love how cheap they are and I really want to try the 10% acid peel.
I’d definitely recommend the peel, I have combination skin, but when my skin is super dry this works well so perfectly on the skin! xxx
Oooooh! I’ve been eying up the foundation as it looks brilliant! The acids’ and other scary names initially put me off but its great to see their purpose and how they helped your skincare routine. Will have to give them a try!
It’s such a good foundation and easily buildable if you want a super full coverage! I felt the same to be honest, but I looked more at what they do for your skin rather than the names as it made it easier for me! Or talking to the people at the counter they are super helpful!
Yessssss girl you have me so obsessed with the Ordinary now! I’m looking at getting the peel you’ve mentioned as I think it’d be good for my dry skin! xo

I’d definitely recommend the foundation and the moisturiser that I’ve linked as it is so good, but it depends on your skin type! xxxx
I’ve heard so much about this brand, but I honestly didn’t realise it was so cheap! I’ve never tried a face peel, but I’m definitely going to try this one out – love me some skincare!!
