Sparkle This New Year With Prima Make Up*

Now we all need to sparkle this New Year and for all the glitter lovers this is definitely a post for you. These glitters are very different to any glitters that I normally use on my lids for a reason, they’re pressed glitters and they also have adhesive in them to keep them in place. To me finding a glitter that is beautiful, that is vegan and cruelty free can be really hard, so finding this amazing brand has really made me super happy! So are you ready to find out more about this brand? Let’s go!

First I’m going to talk about each of the shades them how they work on your eyes and my overall thoughts on the eyeshadows!

This shade gives me so much life. Purple is my favourite colour and honestly it is such a beautiful shade. This is in the shade Unicorn Tears and it definitely gives me all the unicorn vibes and how the colour shifts from purple, to pink and silver, even the slight blue that you see in some places, it’s such a gorgeous shade!

This shade is in liquid gold and it really does look like liquid gold on the eyes too, it’s such a beautiful shade and not only that it makes you feel like an absolute gold goddess too! If you’re looking for the perfect new year festive shade that will go perfectly with any eye colour then this is definitely the shade you need in your life! It’s the perfect gold with slight silver flecks, not only that adds the perfect gold sparkle on your eyes.

This is the last gorgeous shade in Hot Chocolate. This is the perfect copper/brown tone glitter one which I know so many people will definitely be swooning over! This gorgeous copper shade will go with so many of my gorgeous palettes and will give it that perfect pop of colour!

Now the formula I was incredibly impressed with! I have particularly sensitive eyes, so working with glitters can prove difficult, however when I put these on they didn’t irritate my skin and not only that the adhesive inside works really well. On the packaging it says it works without adhesive and it really does work so so well and makes it last so long. I tried once with a primer and once without any primer and didn’t really notice much of a difference which really did impress me because you get the staying power without having to use an eyeshadow primer!

Also because it has a gel consistency so it doesn’t actually crease which makes it a perfect pressed glitter eyeshadow. I applied it and one thing I did notice when applying it is I didn’t get glittery cheeks. You know when you apply glitter and you get the fallout? I actually didn’t get any with these shadows.

I did also try them on the lips, now it’s not something I would normally do as it’s not really my thing, however they look so good on the lips! It can be a bit fiddly to do, but if you’re looking for that showstopping look then this is the way to go. It doesn’t really last particularly well if you’re eating and drinking to be honest but they really do add the wow factor.

For £3.75 you get a product that is such high quality, I feel like everyone needs some of these pressed glitters in their life because honestly the shades are so pigmented, so easy to use on the lids and look absolutely beautiful on!

So are they worth the money? Well each pressed glitter is £3.75 and I really need to get some more! There is such a variety of shades, there’s so much to choose from and not only that they’re affordable! You won’t have to worry about breaking the bank for pressed glitters, they’re vegan friendly and a brand that needs much more coverage than they have!

You can buy your own on Prima Make Up’s Website here where you can find these glitters and more!

I made a little Prima Make Up glitter palette last year and I love it soo much! I find loose glitter so hard to work with as it just makes a mess, but with these the gel like consistency holds it all together so well.

I don’t think I have Unicorn Tears so now I’m tempted to make a second palette!
