West Barn Co – The Brand You Need To Know*

Now we all know I love a good beauty brand, whether and when I found out about this brand new brand I was in my element, not only are they vegan friendly, but they’re cruelty free! Introducing the incredible West Barn Co. Now we are in that time of year where we need to try to keep our make up on as much as possible, have an easy go to product range right? Well when I saw these 2 gorgeous setting sprays, a primer and soap brows in the box I thought, wow, my make up is going to look even better! So are you ready to find out more about the brand that has taken over my heart and also whether these gorgeous products are worth it?

We all know how much I adore a primer and a brow product, they’re 2 of my favourite things about make up (besides a highlighter obviously!) so let’s start off with the primer!

West Barn Co Smoothing Primer – You always need a good base for your make up, and since trying this it has really surprised me with how well my make up stays on but also how smoothly it applies! It has a very unusual scent, but not unpleasant! It has quite a thick consistency it felt a lot like a gel when putting it on, but really does help to make it last all day. I have tried it with multiple foundations to see what it is like and I have found that they all work so well with a variety of different ones. The foundations I tried with it were the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation, aw7 Very Vegan HD Foundation & The Body Shop Matte Clay Foundation. All worked really well and left my skin feeling fabulous and looking flawless.

The primer is £24.00 and you get a 30ml bottle, it has the hyaluronic acid it in and it really does help my skin to feel hydrated. I struggle with large pores and I really did find that this helped with tightening the pores and leave my skin to feel refreshed! You don’t need a lot of product either, a little really does go a long way which is an added advantage!

West Barn Co Soap Brows – I’ve never actually used a product like this before, as you probably know if you’ve been reading my blog I love my brow products and have been swearing by the Eye of Horus Brow Gel or The W7 Very Vegan Eco Brow Palette. However, this product is totally different, all you do is get the spoolie and comb the product through your eyebrows. When I started using it, I was honestly a little unsure on how my brows would look, but honestly I think I’m a soap brows convert. It goes on so easily, it leaves my brows in place, you don’t have to worry about if a product is going to smudge. It’s amazing!

Now this product is £10 and you get a 10g tin, the thing I love about this product is the fact that it goes such a long way and it is easy to transport, so for example if you were going on holiday, you could easily transport it and it would leave your brows looking amazing! My eyebrows look fabulous and groomed and if you have a few bare patches, you can add in some powder to go over the top with!

The two things that I was majorly impressed with what the setting mists from West Barn Co. Both are very different, the first one is a matte mango setting mist and the other is a coconut dew mist.

Matte Mango Mist – I wear a lot of matte foundations, I only have a few that are dewy looks, so when I use this over the top, not only does it smell absolutely incredible, but it also refreshes my make up and leaves me feeling super confident. I use this especially when my skin is very oily as I have combination skin, so I need some extra control and this product is amazing for that. Not only that, when my face is super oily, the last thing I need is my make up sliding off my face, I noticed that using this in combination with the primer it worked even better than my normal primer.

This bottle is £16.00, now I know that might seem quite expensive for a setting spray, however, I found that I only needed about 2 sprays over my face and it set my make up all day. You really do get value for money because you use a lot less and the scent is absolutely incredible!

Coconut Dew Mist – Now I don’t always have oily skin as I have combination skin – seriously the struggle is real with my skin. Anyway, on days when my skin doesn’t decide to look oily I love a dewy kind of look on my skin, I don’t mean a shimmer or a sparkle but a look that gives me that natural look. This mist really does give you that, the scent is so amazing – coconut is one of my favourites and it does set your make up perfectly. Like with the mango mist, you don’t need a lot which is perfect and it doesn’t make your face look oily. I know sometimes people can be quite nervous of a dewy look when you have oily skin, but this setting spray is so good on your skin, it is perfect!

The full sized bottle is the same price as the mango mist, however this is part of the mini sets, you can get a set of all 4 of the mists in mini form so  you can trial what works best for you!

This brand is so incredible, they have a variety of products that are good for all budgets, but not only that they’re cruelty free and vegan friendly. They’re a small business and honestly they deserve so much love and appreciation!

Go check out their shop here right now, you won’t regret it!
