Self belief is something I have always struggled with, and when it came to my blogging life, it then became even harder. There are so many amazing bloggers out there, I mean seriously. These people are hella talented, not only that I’m beyond proud to be part of this amazing community. I’ve definitely learned so much about myself, my journey and just something that people can probably relate to in general, if you’re struggling with self belief then this post might really help or inspire you.
1. I can do this.
Simple. I can do anything that I put my mind to, it won’t be easy and good things don’t just fall into your lap, it means hard work and pushing yourself to the limit.
2. Don’t let anyone ever get you down.
People will sometimes tell you, oh that’s not realistic, that isn’t achievable, well do you know what I say to that? Watch me. Dreams can come true, but hard work pays off. I am not Cinderella and there is definitely no fairy godmother. However if someone would like to lend me theirs I wouldn’t turn it down.
3. Just be unapologetically you.
All of us in this crazy world are unique, we have such an incredible voice that should totally be shared with the world, we need more kind, caring, open and honest people in this world. Share your voice with these incredible people. You’re fabulous.
4. When you feel like giving up, that is the point you need to keep going.
I got to that point not so long ago, and honestly it’s such an awful feeling, because you end up thinking oh what is the point, why am I doing this? But it is so worth it when you keep going, you find out your full potential when you keep going, and see your life shaping in front of you.
5. You see how far you can go.
In life you’re always learning new things, but when you start to believe in yourself you realise how far you can go in life. Sometimes you just need a little push in the right direction!
6. Channel your efforts into positive motions is the most important thing you can do for yourself.
When the voice in your head says you can’t or the people around you say it’s just a silly dream, channel your thoughts into something that will get you one step closer to your dreams.
7. Self belief includes self care
Believing in yourself also means looking after yourself, yes you want to get to where you need to be but burning yourself out isn’t the way to go. It’s all about balance my friend. You will get the balance, but don’t give up.
8. Don’t sit there thinking what if?
What if I had done this? What if I had done that? That really holds me back just in general, but it shouldn’t have to. Instead, think about where you’re going now, how you can do what you need to to get to where you want to be.
Now I’m not saying that you’re going to feel like you want to race for your goals everyday, some days just making a cuppa is a struggle. But what I am saying is that the moment you let go of that self doubt, start believing in yourself just a little bit more everyday, fabulous things really do happen.
