Lately I’ve not been feeling myself, especially becomes to being the positive little peach that I normally am! My moods have been quite literally all over the place and I know I cannot be the only one in the world that has these kinds of struggles. I know this might not be for everyone, and my tips might not help everyone, but if I can help just one person with these tips, then that makes everything better doesn’t it? I mean there can be so many things that can cause people to feel down or not feeling the way they normally would be, so what are my top tips on dealing with a horrendous mood? These will be all of the things that help me when I’m feeling incredibly low.
I love tea so much, I mean having a good cup of tea honestly cheers me up no end, I feel more relaxed after a cup of tea and I feel like I could take on the entire world, so when I have a bad mood, I need the biggest pot of tea ever known to man.
Two. A good music playlist
I have playlists set up on my phone through Spotify for when I need them the most, it contains music that I can sing along to, dance along to, and some seriously cheesy songs. Surely nothing can cheer you up more than doing the Macarena?
Three. Hair and make up.
Playing around with hair and make up can really help to improve my mood, mainly because it is another way for me to get creative. Lately I’ve been really trying my best to mix around with different make up looks mainly because I’m feeling quite daring and it gives me such confidence!
Four. Good food.
People know my love for food, I mean who doesn’t love a good chocolate bar, or some comfort food at the best of times? And I think sometimes when we’re trying to be healthy we forget about indulging in some foods.
Five. A pamper session.
I love a good pamper session is always important after a day where you’ve been in a horrendous mood. Nail painting, face masks, you name it make sure that you make the most of it, because let’s be honest it makes you feel so much better after.
Six. Go for a walk.
I personally find that going for a walk really helps me to think about things, get my mind off things but also to clear my head. I try to make sure that I am the most positive person I can be, but at times we all need a back up plan of things that can help.
