My Favourite Movies When You’re Down

My Favourite Movies When I'm Down

When I’m struggling things can be really difficult to stay positive, and sometimes being able to take solace in things like movies just to take time some time away from everything that is going on. There are so many movies that can make me feel so much better and help me to feel so much better, but not only that it ends up taking my mind off the problems in my world. So what are my favourites?

Mean Girls (2004)

Mean girls is honestly one of my absolute favourites in the world! It has some of the best quotes ever in life, but not only that it has some of the best life lessons in the world. It never fails to make me smile with their quotes one of my eternal favourites is “If you’re from Africa, why are you white?” I will forever love Karen!

Beauty & The Beast (1991)

Beauty and The Beast is one of my favourite Disney movies in the world, it is one of the most beautiful films ever. I always wanted to be Belle when I was growing up, and I love Chip, he is literally the sweetest person ever!

Family Guy – Then There Were Fewer (2010)

It’s not really a movie as such but it is a feature length episode of Family Guy which is honestly one of my favourite things to watch, however it is one of my favourite episodes. Apart from the fact that we lose quite a few of our favourite characters, but nonetheless a fabulous episode.

Legally Blonde (2001)

Legally blonde is one of the best films for when you need motivation for anything you need to do in life. Not only that it reminds you that you can achieve anything that you want if you put your mind to it!

Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (1971)

I remember doing this as a play at school, and I remember having such fun with it! It is still one of the most wonderful films ever! It is so uplifting, with all of the songs I mean who can beat the dancing by the Oompa Loompa’s? It’s the best!

Star Wars Series

I personally love all of the old Star Wars films, they’re funny, witty and they have some of the most significant characters ever! When it comes to characters like Princess Leia & also Yoda they are characters that you can never forget!

Grease (1978)

Gooooo grease lighting, go greaseeee lightening! I know you just sung that in your head right now. A little bit like Willy Wonka it has some of the most iconic songs ever and characters! That is a kind of film that never gets old!

The Addams Family (1991)

The Addams Family is so funny, it’s such an amazingly dysfunctional family! They are so different yet so wonderful it just works so well! The film is so funny, it takes my mind of absolutely everything that I might have been feeling at that moment!
