6 Happy Things – Cake, Coffee and Chill

Happy Monday my lovelies! It’s safe to say that even though Monday has arrived, I feel like I honestly could have a few more days off, just to spend some more time with my husband and continue to bingewatch Netflix. As I’m writing this I currently have the largest iced coffee known to man, sunflowers brightening up my room and the urge to curl up in my duvet and take a nap is unreal. However the last few weeks have been really good! Also happy 3rd day of Autumn, Autumn has finally arrived aka my favourite time of year!

1. Autumn Arrives

Gimme all the colourful leaves, cosy evenings, and all the blankets. Can you tell I’m slightly excited? I mean I’m not showing it that well am I? I’m very much an autumn person, summer literally doesn’t agree with me, and I’m so ready to pull out all of my cosy jumpers too!

2. Scandal Re-watch

I’ve been re-watching Scandal, now if you haven’t watched it yet, you need to! It is one of the most amazing TV shows ever and it will always be one of my absolute favourites. Kerry Washington is absolutely amazing as Olivia Pope too! If you haven’t watched it you can watch it on Amazon Prime Video, it’s such a binge worthy box set!

3. My Husband’s Birthday

Paul turned 27 on the 19th, and honestly it was so nice to spend time with him, have a delicious meal and have a slice of cake late at night while watching Netflix, I mean it was the perfect birthday for him and was exactly what he wanted!

4. Cute Coffee Shops With Michelle

If you don’t know Michelle, Michelle blogs over at petitetealover and she is such an absolute angel! It’s amazing the friends we find in the blogging community and she is one of those people that can lift you up and make you smile so much! We went out for coffee, lunch and a massive catch up and it was amazing! We also drove around one of my favourite towns near to where I live, we took photos of cute buildings, the most instagrammable café and drove through the English countryside. I mean it doesn’t get better than that does it?

5. Finishing Harry Potter

If you’ve seen over the last few weeks Paul and I have been re-watching Harry Potter from beginning to end and even though I’ve finished watching it, I really want to watch it all over again. It is the time of year when Harry Potter is on the TV all the time, I just want to be able to watch it without 100 adverts in the middle. Sorry ITV.

6. New Blog Props

I got a few more blog pops ready for Autumn/Winter and I’m so excited to use them if I’m honest, to take some more blog photos and to just enjoy the best months of the entire year! I’m genuinely excited to just get stuck in, to mix up my feed and to just enjoy everything that comes with my blogging life, especially photography. Photography is something I genuinely adore, and it has improved so much! Looking back at my old photos and I’m like what on earth was I thinking!

Anyway those were a few of the wonderful things that happened to you? Let me know in the comments!

    Hi Amie!

Currently, I’m sitting in my big chair in front of my window, reading blog posts while cuddles in my pink fleece blanket, staring out into the cloudy day. It’s one of the best feelings in September. Why? Because autumn is one of my favorite seasons too. Your post has made me extremely excited for the season and I can’t wait to dive into more posts surrounding this theme!

I do need to check out Scandal. I never watched it but lately, I’ve been binge watching MadMen (on Season 4). O I must say, Jon Hamm and Elisabeth Moss are outstanding in this series 🙂
