Now we all know that I’m very much a Netflix, chill, with some good snacks and a box set that I can literally binge watch. With it finally being another bank holiday, I’m ready to chill out, potentially enjoy the sunshine – I mean let’s be honest in the UK we don’t really have a great track record with sunshine on Bank Holidays. But you know let’s just give it a go! So this bank holiday I’m actually going to chill out, I’m gonna get all the snacks and enjoy all the programmes – so what’s on my list? Snacks, Netflix & chill.
1. Safe
I’ve head so much about this show and honestly I need to watch it. Paul and I always watch these kinds of programmes, we love something that leaves us in suspense, that is gripping and I love that about a programme. It’s all about a widowed surgeon that brings up two daughters and one of those daughters goes missing. Definitely intriguing and I know I’m going to get hooked!
2. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Basically with the new series dropping next week, I need to rewatch it from the beginning to the end – or at least before the new series goes live. I mean I need to watch it, I need my Kimmy fix. I means he is absolutely amazing! I adore her. She is my spirit animal.
3. Queer Eye
I’m pretty sure I’m the only person that hasn’t watched it yet. I’ve heard so many amazing things. I actually watched the trailer and realised that I needed to watch it. The amount of amazing things I’ve heard about it, makes me want to turn off all my social media and become a hermit.
4. The Good Place
I actually started watching it, watched the first episode and fell in love, I got hooked, I kept saying that I was going to go back but for some reason I haven’t continued watching it. Probably because I’m so knackered I can’t cope right now. So this weekend is going to consist of The Good Place. I love a good comedy, and I feel like this is definitely something that I can get stuck into and have a good giggle about and to be honest I adore Kristen Bell anyway.
5. Happy Valley
I remember it being on TV a while ago, however I never watched it. I’ve seen so many amazing thing about it and had a lot of recommendations from friends about this, so I think I’m definitely going to give it a go and I’m a sucker for a good crime drama. It’s a dark, edgy and if you want a programme that has a strong lead character that takes no nonsense (like I need) it’s a programme for you!
6. Mindhunter
You might be seeing a slight theme with what we like to watch in the Cadwallader household. I mean I know it is a serial killer drama, but as long as that drama isn’t in my own life I’m happy to be honest. Even though it is apparently a slow burner I’m okay with that! In this one they’re attempting to understand and catch serial killers, so I know this is going to be a new favourite programme.
So what programmes have you adored lately? What do I need to add to my list? Let me know in the comments!

I have Amazon Prime and I love it so much! xxxxx
I’m totally into Jessica Jones atm but I don’t watch any of these so I might have to once I’m finished that x
My husband watched that without me, so I might have to give it a go asap! xxxx
I haven’t seen any of these shows, but heard so much hype about them. Queer Eye was in fact a series in 2003, someone I used to know was one of the producers! I might have to add some of these shows to my list on Netflix though, they sound so interesting!
