I always like to keep my hair in good condition, and with the weather getting better and not having to wear a hat to keep our heads warm, I want to do my hair and have it looking absolutely fabulously! If you didn’t know though, Umberto Giannini are cruelty free and vegan friendly, and they have so much on offer for whatever your hair needs are, and as someone who straightens their hair to within an inch of it’s life, I need all of the volume. This is their thicktastic range, perfect for giving your hair a little more oomph.

So this is the range, you get a shampoo, conditioner, a hair tonic and plumping spray all of which when you use together leaves your hair looking healthy, full of volume and super strong! I’m currently 2/3 of the way through the 90 day challenge, I’m also going to show you before and after photos do you can see progress with the range!

So this is the before shot, this was from back in January, I wish I could have taken proper before photos, but then the show hit and everything went wrong basically. So in this photo you can see that my hair does have a bit of volume but the only reason it actually does, is because I’ve backcombed it. The ends of my hair were very dry, they were breaking off, even though I do use haircare, with the cold that we did have it was a bloody struggle to keep it healthy. So what does the range do?

Thicktastic Thickening Shampoo 

I’m always incredibly fussy with my shampoos, so when I tried this I was super excited, mainly because I wanted thicker and healthier hair! The scent of this shampoo honestly is heavenly, it is so lovely and not only that it leaves your hair smelling gorgeous too! It is easy to use, easily lathers in your hair & gives such a deep clean on your hair. I use it as my regular shampoo and I’ve noticed it isn’t taking me as long to style my hair, as I do straighten it, it takes less time and looks better!

Another thing that I’ve noticed is the fact that my hair has more shine to it just in general, it looks glossy, it looks so healthy!

Thicktastic Strengthening Conditioner

I absolutely adored the conditioner, where my hair is quite dry, and very brittle, I was excited to see what this could do for my hair, I mean it needed it. The biggest difference I’ve noticed with this conditioner is the fact that the ends are healthier, there is barely any breakage, even with styling. This conditioner was quite a thick consistency, which was something I loved, I also noticed that it helped with my tangled hair. Regardless of what I use when I was my hair I get large knots, so using this after washing really helped when washing it out and brushing with ease!

It is fast becoming one of those conditioners that you can rely on to leave your hair looking and feeling incredible! I’m a sucker for anything that leaves my hair feeling super soft and this really did, I honestly can’t stop touching my hair after I’ve used it! My hair feels that amazing after!

Thicktastic Hair Tonic

I love the smell of this, it has an incredible peach scent to it, something I genuinely cannot get enough of! It’s amazing! I use this after washing and oh my gosh the oomph this stuff gives my hair! This stuff is honestly a bloody miracle for anyone wanting to give their hair a little more lift – a generous spray of this, blow dry and the lift is amazing!

I’ve used so many different lifting products on my hair and nothing actually compares to this, it does exactly what it says it will on the bottle and then some! Even after the fist use I noticed a massive difference in my hair, it looked lifted and over the weeks I have noticed such a difference in my hair!

Thicktastic Wonder Lift 

I’ve never used a product quite like this before because it’s a mixture of a texture spray and a hairspray! At first I was kind of like oh lord this terrifies the hell out of me, but once I got used to it, I got to grips with what to actually do with the product it worked perfectly! I use it normally when I’m going out somewhere for long periods of time, it works well in heat too! The way I normally do it is with a brush, so spray it on at the roots of dry hair and then using a hairdryer to set it in place. Works wonders and gives you amazing lift!

This is the progress that I’ve had using the tonic, shampoo and conditioner, the only thing I didn’t use with this was the hairspray! This is no backcombing, just blow drying and straightening!

I’ve still got just over a month left to go using this so I’m definitely excited to see if I have any more progress.
