Elf Skincare – Is It Worth The Money?

I am a bit of a skincare addict and ever since I finally found Elf skincare in my local Boots, I’ve been trying it. I’ve raved about Elf a lot lately, mainly because their products are so budget friendly, and not only that they work. So here is everything you need to know about E.LF skincare, and what you need to invest in to leave your skin feeling amazing!

E.L.F Hello Hydration Face Cream

I’ve been using this so much lately, especially in the evening and it is so luxurious. The thing that I adore about this moisturiser, is even though it is quite a thick moisturiser, it doesn’t weigh your skin down. It also doesn’t feel like it could clog your pores, which is something I’m always cautious about because I have combination skin and skin that is prone to blemishes. I love the way that it soaks into my skin, it just melts into your skin, without leaving it feeling greasy, which is something I really do need with my combination skin. It is the perfect amount of hydration for my skin and leaves me face feeling so lovely!

E.L.F Super Hydrate Moisturiser

This one is different to the Hello Hydration moisturiser, as it is a gel moisturiser. I’ve been using this more under my make up as it is so light on the skin and I’ve noticed that since adding this to my routine, my make up lasts so much longer. I feel like my skin feels more nourished, the texture under my make up has improved and worked on any dry patches that I had on my face. It genuinely is a wonder product. I would definitely recommend this for people who struggle with dry skin too, it really does help to hydrate your skin and give your skin everything it needs.

E.L.F Super Clarify Cleanser

I love a good cleanser, and the thing that I love the most about this cleanser is the fact that it literally leaves your skin feeling amazing after you’ve cleansed. Your skin feels squeaky clean without feeling like your skin has been stripped. It deeply cleans, helps with texture and helps to unclog your pores, it is one of those miracle products. The fragrance is strong, and it also contains lavender oil, so if you have very sensitive skin, then this may not be the best product for you. The only thing I don’t like is the packaging, because it is a screw top and it is just seriously inconvenient.

E.L.F Super Tone Toner

I’ve been a long time fan of Pixi Glow Tonic and Carbon Theory Toner, and they still one of my go to products, however, this product is absolutely amazing. I get a lot of inflammation on my skin, especially around my spots, and it leaves your skin glowing afterwards. As it has Alpha Hydroxy Acids in it, this product may not be suitable for sensitive skin, as it could cause you irritation, however if you do have combination skin that isn’t sensitive, then you will really enjoy this product.

  • I love the sound of both of the hydrating products. Really interested in the moisturiser as my skin is on the drier side. I’ve never tried any elf skincare before but it’s great that they have some good quality affordable options x

Nearly all my skin-care is Clarins and I’ve realised that I wouldn’t even know where to start in order to branch out and try some new things, especially as they are not the cheapest. These sound like great recommendations – I’ve got combination skin as well so finding the balance can be hard. Great post.

I love affordable options, and I do have dry skin . . . Not only are the bottles and tubes so cute, but I love the name: Elf. That alone is enough to make me buy it.

I haven’t tried ELF products before but hear so much about it. I didn’t know that they got into the skincare market too! It is a bummer that the face cream can make you more prone to blemishes. That is not the point @__@. Though, it is great that the cleanser helps a lot with cleaning your face! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these skincare products!

I’ve seen them in my local Boots and, as soon as we’re free, I’m planning to buy them! Unless I can find somewhere that delivers! xD The face cream and moisturiser are going on my list because my skin is like the Sahara right now! Ick!

  • Whenever I see anything ELF in shops, I just buy it. It’s good for your wallet – not too expensive and all of their products have helped my skin in one way or another. Adore this post from one ELF lover to another!

  • I’ve not tried any of the e.l.f skincare, but I love the makeup range which is amazing for low budget! I’ll have to give that Toner a go, I love Pixi but sometimes find it a tad costly! xx

I love ELF! I just ordered their holy hydration cream with SPF for the first time yesterday. I really liked the other moisturizer you mentioned in the purple packaging, but I found it not moisturizing enough for my skin, even in the summer time. Thank you for sharing!
