The weather is supposed to be changing, and when the seasons change I always change up my skincare routine, mainly because my skin always has different needs depending on the seasons. I have my staple favourites that don’t always change, however there are some things like my serums do change.
Tropic Smoothing Cleanser*
I’ve talked so much about Tropic and my love for them, and recently I’ve been using this more and more especially for taking my make up off after a long day at work, it works absolute miracles. I’ve noticed a massive difference in how soft my skin feels after using it, and my blemishes are currently *touch wood* under control slightly. If you struggle with dry skin too, this cleanser is really hydrating on the face!
Freshly Hyper Concentrate Eye Contour Serum*
I received a surprise parcel from Freshly about 2 – 3 weeks ago because it was their birthday *happy birthday Freshly* and I’ve been using this serum everyday since then. I get very tired skin around my eyes, and I struggle with a lot of dark circles, but since this little angel has come into my life I’ve noticed quite a difference. My eyes don’t look as puffy as they used to, my dark circles even seem to be improving. Of course I can’t wait to see what my eyes look like after a month of using this!
Dermalogica Redness Relief Essence*
This is one of Dermalogica’s newest releases, I’ve only had it a few days but so far I am loving it. The reason I’m talking about it is because I’ve noticed a difference in the way my make up looks when I want a light coverage kind of day. I get quite a lot of redness around my nose and my chin, it’s also my most spot prone areas! I’ve been using this twice a day and I’ve noticed a little difference in the redness around my nose. Because my skin was so red in that area it is easy for me to notice a difference, but I can’t wait to see what improvements will be made over the next few months!
Dermalogica Age Smart Moisturiser*
I have combination skin, so finding a moisturiser that works for me can be really hard, over the colder months this moisturiser has been my absolute go to, and I’m definitely going to keep using it, mainly because I genuinely love the way it leaves my skin feeling. It isn’t too heavy on my skin and it doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy either. I’ve been using this product for around 2 months now, and my skin feels absolutely incredible!
Tropic Skincare Fruit Peel*
If you’re someone who saw my full face of first impressions from Tropic then you will know all about this product, and I’ve been loving it ever since. Using this serum on your skin is amazing, I’ve noticed such a difference in my pores and especially in how my make up applies! My skin feels smoother, it looks smoother and make up application has never been easier in my opinion after using this. If you’re also looking to brighten your complexion then this serum will work wonders on your skin!
Tropic Skincare Pure Lagoon*
Finally we have the Pure Lagoon serum, something I’ve talked about before, but still a solid product for me, I use this one during the day, and the fruit peel in the evening and honestly it works like a dream. Of course having combo skin is genuinely a pain in the backside, but this product makes my life easier because I’ve noticed it controls my oily skin especially around my T-Zone and even after application I notice that the spots I have don’t seem a prominent/red under my make up. It’s a dream product to use and smells absolutely incredible.
The products are some of my go to items at the moment and leave my skin feeling absolutely amazing! Are any of your favourites here? Let me know in the comments!

Ooh I’ve heard good things about the Dermalogica Calm serum! I have a similar one from Paula’s Choice and it’s called the calm serum which has helped me… The Pure Lagoon serum looks great, just had a look at the ingredients and it’s definitely something that would help soothing blemishes.
I’ve not tried any of these exact products but I have tried other Dermalogica products and I really liked them. 🙂 I really like the sound of the Tropic skincare and have read nothing but good things about them, so I really must try something from them soon! 😀

I never heard of Tropic skincare line, I want to check out the cleanser because I have combination skin and it’ll help out my dry skin sections. Also, I’m curious about the Dermalogica Redness Relief because I get redness around my nose and chin and sometimes you can see it through my powder foundation, so I know this will help 🙂

You always seem to mention all these brands that I’ve never heard of, then I get all inspired and have to go and look them up every time I read one of your posts, aha! The Tropic items sound divine! Great post, as always.
Okay, I feel ashamed that I didn’t know any of these brands! They sound so good and my skin needs all the help it can get recently! It feels so dry! Thanks for the heads up. <3
