October Beauty Favourites

And just like that another month is over and we have less than 2 months left of the entire year. I’m not 100% sure where this year has gone, I feel like it was only yesterday when we were making resolutions and thinking about what might happen, but we aren’t, and we have now arrived in November.

Over the last few month I’ve been trying a few different products, trialling some new things in terms of skincare and beauty products, so are you ready to find out what I’ve been enjoying?

Carbon Theory Breakout Control Facial Moisturiser

I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks now, and I’ve noticed a little difference in my skin, especially around my chin. I’ve had some super angry spots lately, and since using this product in combination with my other favourite products and it has really helped. The one thing to remember, especially with this moisturiser is a little goes such a long way and it is so lightweight on the skin. I’m really impressed with this moisturiser!

Farsali Skin Tune

Now I see everyone rave about Farsali so I thought I need to find out what the fuss is all about and whether it is a good as everyone says it is. I’ve got to admit, I can see why people love it! It is such an amazing primer. When I apply my foundation after using it, my skin looks much better, my pores are unnoticeable, and foundation applies like a dream on top of this. If you’re looking for an amazing primer that goes a long way, I’d definitely recommend it!

Revolution Skincare Night Restore Oil

This is my first time trying any of the Revolution skincare line. I’ve previously raved about their make up and I think they are bloody amazing to be honest, but I’m always super careful when it comes to skincare. This oil though is brilliant. It is really hydrating so if like me you have combination skin, it works wonders on those dry patches of your face but also helps with oil control around my more oily areas. I have also noticed a difference with my blemishes. Like I’ve said I’ve had quite a few break outs recently and this oil has helped calm the most angry of spots on my face!

Tropic Skincare Glow Berry Serum*

This is one of Tropic’s most recent launches, I’ve also got their Rainforest dew serum which I’m waiting to try, however since I received this in the post, I’ve been really enjoying it. It does smell absolutely heavenly if I’m honest and like with all the serums that I’ve tried you do not need a lot of it and a small amount goes such a long way. The one thing I’ve noticed with this product is I’m getting less redness on my face and especially my nose. My skin looks and feels super healthy too!

Maui Moisture Detoxifying and Volcanic Ash Body Lotion

I’ve talked about Maui Moisture in the past and how much I love their products. I think what they do is amazing. I’ve been using this moisturiser for a while now, I like to make sure, especially in the winter that my skin feels hydrated because if my skin does dry out so quickly I need something that is really intense. This one is specifically for rough and dull skin, and I’ve been really loving it if I’m honest. It is really hydrating, you can feel it working and it doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky after you use it! I also love the scent, it is so relaxing!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

Paul bought me this palette for my birthday and honestly I love it so much! It is literally so beautiful and I love using it! I’ve been using it pretty much everyday since I got it and it makes me so bloody happy! The shade I’ve been using the most is incandescent light which is the middle shade. It has the most gorgeous shimmer to it, and it literally melts into your skin. This is my first product from Hourglass and I’m sure it won’t be my last. It wasn’t cheap I’ve got to be honest, but it is so bloody gorgeous!

Have you tried any of these products? Or are there any in my favourites that are on your list? Let me know in the comments!
