Have A Good Skincare Day With Tropic Super Greens Serum*

Contains PR samples

If you read my blog post on 6 things I want to do in April you will know I’ve been wanting to keep up with my skincare routine. We all know how important skincare is, having a routine is so important and the benefits it can have your skin. Tropic do such an incredible range of skincare, you can’t not love them, there is something for pretty much everyone. Today however I’m trying the Tropic Skincare Super Greens which has been giving me good skincare days since I started, so ready to find out more? Let’s go!

So what does this little pot of goodness do?

This serum is said to work well for red, irritated, blemish prone, sensitive and tired looking skin, which is basically what my skin is. I get a lot of blemishes, I have incredibly oily skin too so my skin is basically a little bit of everything!

This serum felt like more of an oil based serum than others I have used, however it did leave my skin feeling super lovely!

Because it is an oil based I was worried that it would leave my skin feeling greasy, I use oils on a regular basis, but you never know how you skin will react and whether or not it will like it.

It has a very unusual scent, it smells healthy, green and very good for you if that makes sense. I put it down to the herbs that are in it, but once you get used to it, it smells so lovely, and rather calming!

So how did it work out for me?

Like I said above I have very spot prone skin, it is sensitive, I get a lot of redness and it can be quite dry too, so when I started using it, I could feeling it slowly getting into my skin, and it felt so good!

I have tried it 2 different ways, just applying it to my face from the jar and I’ve also added some drops to my daily moisturiser if I am going out and need to apply make up, I have to admit it worked well in both.

I have noticed such an incredible difference in my skin just by using this serum, especially on the amount of dry skin I get on my face. My skin looks brighter, it looks healthier, I’ve not had as many breakouts lately and the spots that I do have, have gone a lot quicker than they normally would!

Would I purchase it again? This jar is £42, which I know is probably a bit of a splurge and a luxury item. I get that, personally I only use 2 drops a day if that because it does spread so easily, it is goes such a long way and not only that it leaves your skin feeling so beautiful!

This jar is probably going to last me till December, because it is such a large jar and it won’t go down too quickly!

Sounds like it is a great product and although quite an expensive product a little goes along way.

    • amiecadwallader@outlook.com says:

It’s on the expensive side, but if you think about the amount you might use of another one, and the amount you would go through, this might be a good purchase! xxxx

  • Sammy says:

This product sounds amazing! I love the packaging too, very sleek and classy.

It is such a good product! I adore the packaging too! xxxx

  • I won a giftbag from Tropic a few years ago with some gorgeous products in. I love their ethics and they’re fab on social media! I think £42 is a bit much for a serum – I certainly couldn’t afford to pay that much for something like that, which is a shame but it looks like a great product!

    • amiecadwallader@outlook.com says:

I think that is one of the reasons I have fallen in love with them, the products and their ethics. I definitely get that angel, if you’re wanting to splurge, this is definitely something, but also a little goes such a long way, and the benefits are incredible! <3

I’ve heard loads of good things about Tropic, but haven’t tried them myself yet. I love oils as they last so long I feel I can splurge every now and again on a luxury bottle 🙂

  • Abi says:

Like green juice for your face haha love it! Im assuming the green color helps cancel out redness as well? A lot of money though!

    • amiecadwallader@outlook.com says:

I totally know what you mean about the money side, it is expensive, you only need about 2 drops and it spreads really easy on the skin, or drops into skincare! I have noticed a massive difference in the redness I get since using this product! xxxx

  • Rebecca Greenway says:

This looks so good. Unfortunately I can’t afford £42 but I’m glad you liked it.

    • amiecadwallader@outlook.com says:

I know what you mean about the price, but if you ever want to splurge, it’s worth it! xxx

  • That is quite a heafty price mark but as it is going to last a long time then I guess it is worth it. I drink a yummy berry flavoured super green mix most mornings and it boosts my energy levels so I bet it is great for your skin too.

    • amiecadwallader@outlook.com says:

I totally know what you mean angel, it’s a splurge, but it does work so well on the skin and you don’t need a lot of product! xxxx

  • Sian says:

This sounds fab – £42 is a little more on the expensive side but if it works and the product lasts a long time then I don’t personally mind spending more! xo

    • amiecadwallader@outlook.com says:

I am the same, when it lasts a long time, I’m up for a bigger price tag, mainly because if you think of the amount you would buy of something else that might be cheaper it might not necessarily last as long! xxxx

  • Amy says:

Looks very nice, I love the packaging! Not too keen on the price, but will check it out.

A friend told me about tropic and I’m really interested to try this product now. I get sent lots of skincare products though and this one is a bit too pricey for me tbh. But who knows I may get to try it one day. It sounds great and perfect for my skin type.
