August was a pretty damn good month if I’m honest, lots of amazing things happened, I turned 25, I got to see my grandparents and just in general it was a really good month! Not only that I’ve been in a pretty good place all things considered. Not only that I’ve been collecting some of my favourite products, and I can’t wait to show you and tell you more about them and the reasons they’re just so good for your skin. So are you ready to find out more?
The Body Shop Rose Dewy Glow Face Mist
Now we all know how much I hate my combination skin, and the last few days with the change in weather my face has decided to dry out. I mean it is bloody awful, so when I do my make up, I’ve been being very cautious with the products that I’ve been using on my face. This face mist is absolutely amazing! It is really make up friendly, and is super hydrating on the on the face. It leaves you with such a lovely glow too! So if you’re looking for something to hydrate your face and not mess with your make up, then this mist is for you. It is also super refreshing too!
Dermalogica Clear Start Breakout Clearing Booster*
I have had some seriously bad breakouts on my face lately, especially on my chin, and over the last month this product has really helped to clear my spots up, I mean they’ve been painful as hell, super sore and they’re the kind of spots that you can feel pushing through. If you have spot prone skin, painful spots or anything like that then this product will be an absolute Godsend to you!
Noughty To The Rescue Hair Mask
I put my hair through it’s paces, I mean from straightening, curling, blow drying it, you name it, I put it through it’s paces. When my hair starts to feel ridiculously dry, the ends are breaking, it’s about time to put some hydration in, give it a bit of loving then this mask is everything I need and then some. You don’t need a lot of it, it is super soft on the hair, leaves it feeling nourished and exactly the way it should feel.
Too Faced Sweet Peach Foundation
This foundation actually got a lot of stick because of the amount that it oxidises, and to be honest it really does oxidise, I have the shade Swan, which is the lightest shade in the range, and it looks gorgeous on the skin. Once blended down, it leaves your face looking dewy, but not oily. It is quite a liquid when it comes out but it is so buildable, the coverage is medium to full coverage and I love it so much! Also the smell is just something else, it is my favourite!
Bloomtown The Meadow Sugar Scrub
We all need a good sugar scrub sometimes, and I love this scrub so much. I love to use this before I go to bed because the lavender scent is so calming and soothing. When you use this it leaves your skin feeling super soft, it gets rid of all the dead skin and leaves the skin beneath glowing! It is one of the most comforting scrubs on the skin, and it doesn’t feel uncomfortable when you use it!
Yes To Tomatoes Daily Balancing Moisturiser
I love the whole Yes To Range! It is one of my favourite skincare ranges, but lately I’ve been going for the moisturiser more often, it leaves your skin feeling so soft and moisturised, I can feel it working on my skin and not only that I can feel it targeting my spots too! It controls the oils on my face, it doesn’t leave me with super greasy skin, it’s just an all around amazing moisturiser!

I absolutely LOVE the Bloomtown sugar scrubs and honestly, most of their other products too of which I have A LOT of! I’ve been eyeing up the Body Shop facial mists for a while but haven’t yet tried them, so that is definitely one I would love to try! 🙂 x

I’ve actually never used the Yes To range which is crazy because everyone seems to love it! I really need a new moisturiser so I think I’ll be checking this out. Also LOVING the sound of the sugar scrub. Something to combat my dry skin now it’s getting colder plus lavender to help me drift off? Sounds ideal!

Also keen to try the Too Faced foundation but a little worried it will be too dark for my skin tone if it oxidises.

Glad August was such a good month for you! I got the Peach foundation for my birthday in July and it’s very matte on me (I have really dry skin) but I love it. And I think I’m the only person on the planet that it doesn’t oxidise on?? I have the shade swan too and it’s a bit dark on me but it’s not too bad. There were tonnes of Yes To stuff on sale at my local Holland & Barrett a few weeks ago and I nearly got loads but managed to hold back. You have me regretting that decision now!! x

Omg the Dermalogica breakout spray honestly works wonders. I remember years ago I was given a small sample to use and it honestly made my skin clear. I never ended up finding it again for some reason, but you’ve actually made me happy dance because you’ve reminded me of it and lead me to it again. I will be investing in it again for sure.
I’ve wanted to try Bloomtown products for ages now, the scrub seems like the perfect product to start off with.
