Purezza Camden – The Vegan Food Of Dreams*

Pizza + Amie is basically a match made in heaven, I am happiest when I have pizza in my life. Purezza is somewhere I actually fell in love with in Brighton last year, and it is one of those restaurants that you cannot get enough of. They recently opened a gorgeous spot in Camden and the fact that it is closer to where I am, I’m in my own personal heaven. So Purezza has one of the most extensive ranges of Italian foodie classics that I know when it comes to catering for everyone, including some raw vegan options too! So what did I really think?

So I went for a margherita pizza on a sourdough base mainly because I really really fancied one and two because I literally adore Purezza cheese more than anything. I love a sourdough base for a pizza, I find them thin in the middle and super fluffy on the side, and not only that their pizzas are always such full of flavour! I mean just look at all that cheese on top! Their cheese is always the best, it is gooey, smooth I really enjoyed this pizza so so much!

Paul had the vulcano pizza with a hemp flour base, and honestly he absolutely adored it. I tried the base and it had some serious flavour, I adore hemp anyway, I have it in skincare, in protein powder, I think it is such a versatile ingredient that can go into do much! The siracha sauce had an incredible kick to it, so if you love spicy food then this is the one for you! There was so much flavour in this pizza, it was just perfect!

We also had some cheesy dough balls, which I almost forgot to photograph so while there was 1 left I quickly photographed it, I mean honestly they were so good. Besides being a little bit hot, which was my own fault because I just took a bite into it, but they tasted amazing, the cheese just oozed out of the ball, and honestly it is one of the greatest things I’ve ever tasted!

Oh my gosh Purezza Gelato is literally something else, I mean seriously! It tastes so good! The caramel brownie gelato was so good, it had a delicious hint of banana too I mean it was so delicious and the vanilla wasn’t just like any vanilla ice cream, it was so luxurious and you could really taste the vanilla. It was strong yet not overpowering, just so incredible! Paul would have had more but we were both so full, but it was so worth it!

Now I have always been in love with Tiramisu, it’s one of my favourite desserts, and it always tastes incredible, so when I saw this on the menu I was like oh my gosh I need. I also need an IV of this all of the time. It is so delicious, the base has so much flavour, it has dates which gives it a chocolatey flavour to it, not only that it gives you this gooey base! You can taste the nuts in the sauce and it gives such a subtle flavour, and combined with the cacao powder on top, it’s a match made in heaven.

Overall the meal was absolutely incredible and the team at Purezza are some of the best! They’re the most incredible bunch of people and always beyond welcoming, I will definitely be going back and you can go and visit now!
