Detox Your Skin With Superdrug’s New Vitamin C Range*

Now we all know my love for Superdrug skincare and make up, they do some of the most wonderful budget friendly skincare and make up that really does work! They have come out with a new range that literally rivals all of their other ranges the Vitamin C Detox skincare range. I’ve been trialling a few bits and pieces out to give you my verdict on them and whether you should be running out to buy them in the next 30 minutes or not! So are you ready to find out? Let’s go!

First we are going to start off with probably the most incredible smelling cleanser to hit the earth, and it really does pack a punch on the skin! I’ve been using this once daily and have noticed a massive difference in my skin and the way my make up goes on! I have combination skin, and especially on my t-zone I get incredibly oily skin, since using this however I’ve noticed a reduction in the amount of oil on my t-zone.

This cleanser also has kakadu plum extract in it which scrubs the skin and removes all of the impurities and oils! I’ve noticed a massive difference in the way my skin feels too, it is much smoother to touch and even my make up goes on better! I have rather large pores on my nose too, so I’m prone to basically spots, blackheads, no matter how much I cleanse my skin, this one however has really helped because it is such a deep cleanser it gets right into those pores and leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean & I mean squeaky clean.

Next we move onto 2 must haves in any skincare routine, a face mask and a moisturiser!

Orange Peel, Goji Berry Extract & Sugar Revitalising Jam Face Mask – Now a good face mask can do so much for your skin, and recently I spoke about the other new releases from Superdrug with their face mask collection (read that here) and how much I loved those so I had really high hopes for this one! It 100% did not disappoint, I mean the scent of this entire collection is just incredible, it just reminds you of summer. I literally wanted to make cocktails because it just oozed summer. Back to the face mask.

So it is exactly like a jam, a thick consistency and easily spreads onto the skin with very little trouble. As soon as you put it on your face you feel it working into the skin, you feel like all of the impurities are just being drawn out and  you’re going to be left with the softest, smoothest and clearest skin in the world. It was really easy to take off, it exfoliated the skin and honestly left my skin feeling beyond smooth. If you’re looking for a face mask that is going to exfoliate your skin, draw out the impurities and also help to cope with the residue of oily skin then I would recommend this one! My skin is brighter and clearer, it’s a win win situation!

Goji Berry Extract & Grapefruit Nourishing Gel Moisturiser – I’m always very cautious when it comes to moisturisers because of my oily t-zone so I always want to make sure that my skin is in the best condition possible and doesn’t end up looking like a greasy mess. This one was uh-mazing!

It was a gel consistency which you would think that it wouldn’t have such a deeply moisturising feeling however you would be wrong! It is so lighter on my skin, it didn’t block my pores, it really helped to moisturise my skin and feel nourished after an amazing skincare routine! Especially after the jam face mask, it gives you all the moisture you need to leave your skin feeling absolutely incredible! Thanks to this amazing moisturiser there has been a massive reduction in the amount of oil my skin produces! It’s an amazing product!
