Being vegan, people think oh eating out is really difficult, I mean it has it’s challenges sure, but nothing makes me happier than when I see clear vegan option on a menu. There is a beautiful hallelujah chorus that goes off in my head. Anyway Bella Italia has such an extensive vegan range already, however now their new menu Less is Amore, there are few amazing vegan additions, two of which I have tried and tested for you.

So what is the Less is Amore range? This range is all about lighter meals, healthy choices especially when you’re out! I personally love a lighter bite especially for lunch and this range is absolutely perfect! It is ridiculously filling, full of flavour and you aren’t missing out on any of the yummy bits! So all of the pasta’s are made with spiralised vegetables, including golden beetroot, carrot and  courgette!

Now how delicious does this look? This is the Pomodoro, and honestly it was so good! I have had it before, however it was with the pasta. My mum tried them this time and she loved it! The sauce was full of flavour and had the most delicious flavour! My mum didn’t really notice the difference without the pasta! The thing I loved the most about the sauce was the fact that it was so refreshing with the tomatoes!

I have never had Lenticchie and honestly it didn’t disappoint! If you’re a massive fan of mushrooms like I am then this is the meal for you! It is so delicious! My mum tried a little bit too and even she liked it! This has lentils in it and I found that they added a ‘meaty’ kind of flavour and not only that they add such a delicious kick of heat to the meal too. I was really surprised how much I liked the lentils because I’ve never had them before and heard they were quite spicy, they were perfect!

We also ordered some sides which were absolutely delicious just to go with the meal, and they were so yummy, but honestly we really didn’t need them! The light lunches were so so filling! I was really surprised with how full I was without pasta, I mean you automatically think that carbohydrates will fill you up more, but these spirallised vegetables filled me up more than normal pasta.

Now on to price, the Lenticchie was £8.99 and the Pomodoro was £8.29, for the price you pay you get a considerable amount of food! You definitely get the value for money with your meal as it is full of flavour, tastes incredible and fills you up so much.

I’ll definitely be going back again soon, as much husband cannot wait to try it all! There is so much for everyone, so even if you’re not a vegan, or you’re looking to transition, then there is something for everyone!
