I genuinely feel like April literally came and went in an absolute blur. So much happened in April and the lock down has been a struggle for most, but during the lock down I’ve been having so many no make up days, and not straightening my hair, that my hair and skin have been loving it. So what are my monthly favourites, the products I’ve been loving and using?

Tropic So Sleepy Pillow Mist*
I have been struggling so much to sleep lately, with a combination of anxiety, the lockdown and everything I between, sleep has been tough. They sent me a surprise self care parcel, which included this pillow mist and it has ben working so well for me. I spray it around an hour before I go to bed, I spray it on my curtains too, because I have the window open and it helps it to flow through my room and so far it has helped me to drift off to sleep quicker. I’ve also noticed that I’m sleeping deeper as I can see how well I sleep on my Fitbit app.
The pillow mist is £20 and honestly I couldn’t recommend it more, it is so calming and soothing, and if you have an anxious mind like me, you will definitely benefit.
Umberto Gianinni Pick Me Up Moisturising Spray
I have talked about Umberto Giannini a lot in the past and I picked up this spray a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it. I struggle with split ends, and my hair always feels dry because I use so much heat on my hair, but lately since using this, I’ve noticed a difference in my ends, even after using heat on it. My ends feel nourished without being weighed down and it also feels super soft. This spray definitely gives your hair the TLC it needs if you’re a lover of using heat on your hair like I am.
The spray is £7.00 which in my opinion is an absolute bargain! A little of the spray definitely goes such a long way, and if after washing your hair you end up looking like you have a birds nest on your head, then this will help to detangle your hair! Win win!
Drunk Elephant Sweet Pitti Deodorant Cream
I’ve working on finding a few different deodorants that don’t contain products like aluminium, drying alcohols, SLS etc, and I’ve tried 2 others that I really liked from Salt of the Earth, and when I saw Drunk Elephant had released one, I knew I had to buy it. It has one of my favourite scents in the world, marzipan and if you do manage to get razor rash, this deodorant cream will help to soothe it. I’ve been testing this while on my runs, to see how it works when you work up a sweat and honestly it works really well. As it is a cream it does dispense differently and goes on wet, however it does keep you smelling amazing throughout the day and even after a 4km run!
The deodorant itself is £13, which I know is incredibly expensive, however if like me you are looking for a more natural deodorant that leaves you smelling wonderful throughout the day then this is definitely the one for you!

Tropic Super Greens Nutrient Boost Oil*
I feel like I haven’t talked about this product in a while, and I feel like it really should get more love than it does. It is one of my holy grails when it comes to skincare. As someone who has blemish prone and combination skin, this product is an absolute godsend. I’ve been using it every day, twice a day on my skin and my skin is slowly but shortly looking clearer than ever. I’ve had some really harsh and difficult spots lately and with a bit of scarring on the side of my face, and this has really helped to clear these stubborn spots.
The serum itself is £42 which again I know is a lot of money, however, you don’t need to use a lot of it, I use around 2 drops in the morning and in the evening and it covers my face and leave it looking and feeling wonderful.

Peacci Cuticle Oil
I am so missing my gel nails at the moment, but I ordered a kit that my nail tech recommended to remove what was left of my gorgeous gels, and honestly I can’t recommend this brand more. I’ve ordered some of their nail varnish too and will report back asap. This is their cuticle oil, and I’ve noticed a difference in my nails, and my hands. I always moisturise my hands first thing in the morning and in the evening, but I’ve been trying to take more care of my nails since I can’t get my gels done by my nail technician. I have noticed my nails definitely feel stronger, and I’m definitely putting it down to this oil.
The oil is £10 (currently on offer) and a little goes such a long way, I’ve been using it twice a day for the last 3 weeks, and I’ve hardly used any in the bottle! (I’ve used a bit more since I took these photos though)

E.L.F Supermask
I recently talked about E.L.F skincare, and I’ve been trialling their supermask for around 2 moths now and I love the ways that it works on my skin. I’ve previously mentioned that I have combination skin, and I get a lot of redness and dryness on my face, and since using this I’ve noticed that the redness has gone down, my face is more hydrated and my skin feels so much happier. If you’re looking for a product that helps to calm your skin and works to reduce the redness I’d definitely recommend this one.
The mask is £12, which I think is such a good price for the kind of product that you’re getting, it does so much for your skin and leaves you feeling so good and your skin looking incredible.
So these are my favourites for the month, is there anything you want to try? Let me know in the comments!

That pillow spray sounds lovey, I struggle with sleeping most of the time not just in the current situation so I keep meaning to try something like this.

I want to get the pillow mist to try! xx
So many products I’ve never heard of here that I want to try! I’m glad you discovered some new favorites. I think quarantine is the perfect time to try out new beauty items – just in case they *don’t* work the way we hope haha!
Oh my goodness, all of these products sound AMAZING! I want the pillow mist, and moisture spray and deodorant cream. Thank you for sharing!
Some great picks here. For Christmas last year, my partner and I received a lot of bath and beauty products from his nan and in there was a lavender pillow mist. Now, neither of us had ever tried a pillow mist before but now we cannot sleep without it. We’re coming to the end of that bottle now so I may try out the Tropic one for a change.
I so need that SO Sleepy pillow mist!!
I haven’t tried a pillow mist before! It sounds heavenly 😍 I’ve seen the e.l.f brand around here but have never given it a try!
I am so dependent on a cuticle oil right now as my hands are still so incredibly dry! Such a brilliant post!

I’ve heard such good things about that Tropic oil. It seems quite expensive but it obviously works and lasts a long time and I think my skin is worth investing in – I’ll have to look into it, thank you, Amie! X
