Netflix and chill especially when the weather has cooled down a little bit is 100% my jam right now. I’ve been super busy and coming home and just putting Netflix on is so much easier than doing anything else. I think sometimes the best way to chill out and relax with some good food, time with my husband and Netflix, and right now there are some seriously amazing programmes on there, and they’re always adding more! So what are we watching right now?
Unforgotten – We literally binge watched season 1 and 2 on Netflix, I mean it is so good and not only that season 3 is just airing on ITV Hub! It’s basically about historic cases they find the person, they have to investigate, I mean Paul and I always watch these kinds of shows, it’s so good, it grips you, you get completely emotionally invested in the whole programme, I mean, we love it so much. If you like crime drama’s you’ll love this one!
River – River was an interesting one, he is investigating the murder of his partner, but he can talk to people who are dead. He can see them, learn things from them and you see his struggle during that time. It does make you incredibly emotional watching it, but I think it is definitely an incredible watch!
Alias Grace – I’ve been hooked on this from Netflix, it is based on a book by Margaret Atwood, and even though normally I’m the kind of person that likes to read the book before I watch the programme, I honestly couldn’t wait to watch it. Basically Grace is serving a life sentence for murder and her male partner was hanged for it. It basically follows her story and I love it so much.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt – Kimmy is pretty much my soul sister, I feel like she is my spirit animal, she is so funny, so honest and such a great girl, and since the new series came out a few months ago, I keep rewatching it. It’s like the greatest pick me up when you need a good laugh and a bit of a smile!
The Good Place – Another Netflix original, where Eleanor has died and she has been sent to the wrong place by error and she tries to correct her behaviour in the afterlife, it is a super interesting watch, really easy to watch and not only that just a super easy watch! I’d definitely recommend it!
Happy Valley – We’ve only just started this and so far it is really good. It is very much like the programmes we have been watching above, but it is so good! It is about a police sergeant who tried to unravel the case of the kidnapping of a young girl. I have to admit it is a tough watch in places I’m not gonna lie.

I haven’t seen any of these! I loved Safe, if you haven’t seen that, I’d definitely recommend! Also The Alienist and I’ve recently finished Good Girls which was my favourite show I’ve watched in a VERY long time! xxx

I watched Unforgotten in 2 days last week – 2 days!! I was completely hooked and I need to find it on ITV hub! I’ve heard of the other series but never watched them, happy valley is on my list as I watched the odd couple when it aired! My fave shows are Jane the Virgin, Luther, Suits and Riverdale!

Ah I loved Happy Valley! Agree that it’s a tough watch but I really enjoyed it. I love The Good Place too, and season 3 is out now! I’ve heard so many amazing things about Unforgotten, need to watch it asap. Honestly think I’ve watched alf of Netflix but some of my faves are Jane the Virgin, Breaking Bad, and Dynasty!
