Friendly Meetings

This weekend I finally got to meet one of my close friends who I have been speaking to for ages, she is a fellow vegan and she is an absolute sweetheart. Sarah is one of the most kind and caring people ever, and I was so excited to go for lunch with her and have a big catch up at the same time.

Manna Munchies

If you’ve never heard of Manna they’re a vegan gourmet restaurant which has such a wide variety of food, I was literally over the moon and in love with everything. The fabulous thing about Manna was that I didn’t have to worry about what I was going to eat, whether or not what I was eating would be vegan or if there were things that I needed to avoid. I was in absolute vegan heaven!

For main course I decided to have the enchilada lasagne, and honestly it was absolutely delicious. The lasagne was filled with black bean, sweet potato & corn and served with coriander and lime rice with guacamole & carrot salsa. I have to admit the guacamole was one of the best ones I’ve ever had, it was really creamy, but the flavours were so strong and blended so well together, I completely adored it. I love salsa and I loved the flavours of the salsa and and having it all together tasted amazing, it might not sound like it goes well together, but honestly it is the best!

The dessert has to be one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. I had the vice cream a cookie semi-freddo, and oh my god I took one bite it was absolutely beautiful, the cookies were so yummy it was in the middle and at the base, and what I loved the most was the fact that individually you could taste every type of ice cream. The way that the berries tasted it just cut through the ice cream and the chocolate perfectly.
