My Fitness Inspiration
When I first started my fitness journey what motivated me the most was a photo that was taken of me just before I started, I was uncomfortable, I hated my body and the way I felt but I also didn’t have any energy and I terribly. This post is going to be all about the #lumiafitnessinspiration competition, when I was asked, I jumped at the chance to speak about what inspires me and to show a picture because it is something I talk very passionately about.
These 2 pictures literally made me feel terribly I definitely didn’t recognise the person that was staring me in the face, that was the point when I knew it was time to change my life and the way I felt about myself.
On my blog I have been very open about why I started my weight loss journey and how long it took me to get where I am, and I promise you it wasn’t easy. Losing weight honestly has been one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done, but I have gained so much from losing weight, and I wouldn’t have changed my journey for the world. It’s A Learning Curve
When people talk about losing weight, people just say oh just eat less, move more, it’s not that simple, I learned that the hard way. When it comes to losing weight you don’t need to eat less in general, you need to eat less of things like sweets & chocolate etc, and more fresh food like fruit, vegetables but to be able to maintain the weight loss you have to have balance, so don’t cut all of the cakes and chocolate out, you have them on the odd occasion but you also because if you don’t that is the time you’re more likely to have a time where you just eat all the cookies (no problem there though.)
I have been dedicated to losing weight for over 2 years, it hasn’t been a short process due to things like my medication (not an excuse but it’s definitely something that affected my eating habits and weight loss) but now I am stable, I am definitely getting there.
