Saturday was one of the most hilarious days out ever, there was an amazing bloggers meet in Canterbury! I’ve never met any of the fabulous bloggers that were there on Saturday, which in itself for me, is such a big thing because of my anxiety and agoraphobia is huge. However, I walked all the way to my local train station, without my husband or anyone with me, and met up with the gorgeous Amanda! It was just a casual meet up in Canterbury which honestly one of the best things about it, because we are able to just hang out, enjoy talking to each other and getting to know one another!
We all have those moments right? We go clothes shopping, we find these amazing clothes, we go into the dressing room and try them on and they either don’t fit or they’re too baggy. It is really irritating right? I could go into one store, buy a top that is a size 16 and go into another and buy a top that is a size 20. Now that might not seem like a big different in terms of number sizes, however, if you went and looked at the inches of difference, there can be up to 6 inches overall.
The internet is a wonderful thing right? I mean honestly how would we all be able to deal with not being able to go online to do some shopping, or being able to talk on Twitter? Social media and the internet has become such a huge part of our lives, it would be strange not to come home or look on our phones to check up on social media. However with the positive of social media comes the negativity of people trying to upset you and bring you down. The important thing is to figure out the best way to deal with trolls and how to make sure that you deal with it in the best way possible.
So what are some of the best ways to deal with trolls?
My Fitness Inspiration
When I first started my fitness journey what motivated me the most was a photo that was taken of me just before I started, I was uncomfortable, I hated my body and the way I felt but I also didn’t have any energy and I terribly. This post is going to be all about the #lumiafitnessinspiration competition, when I was asked, I jumped at the chance to speak about what inspires me and to show a picture because it is something I talk very passionately about.
These 2 pictures literally made me feel terribly I definitely didn’t recognise the person that was staring me in the face, that was the point when I knew it was time to change my life and the way I felt about myself.
Yellow is all over the catwalk right now, in all shades and it is one of my best friend’s favourite colours, but I decided that it was important to go through all of the different shades and find the most beautiful yellow clothes that are budget friendly too.
This is a fabulous dress, I love the mustard colour, if you’re worried it might look like it hasn’t got any shape but if you would like to add a white belt around the waist to show off your waist. The other thing you could do is put a waistcoat over the top and wear it to an evening meal, or to date night with your partner.
So yesterday (25th April) was my husband and I’s anniversary, we’ve officially been together 4 years. When I say that in my head it just seems like it’s flown by. It feels like yesterday when we took this picture and he met my mum for the first time:
And when we first went to the park and took this picture:
I literally cannot get my head around the fact that we’ve been together 4 years and we’ve never been happier. I get to wake up in the morning, roll over and see his smiling face, a face that has stuck with me through my worst times.
