As most people will know, I’m a massive healthy living fan, so when it comes to breakfast, smoothies are my absolute favourite things in the world! They’re filling, give me energy and with some of my added superfoods, I feel absolutely fabulous! I’ve loved flaxseeds for years, I used to have the cocoa and flaxseed mix from Linwoods and they are so easy to add in and full of flavour and vitamins? So why do I add them? Honestly I absolutely adore the fact that there are added vitamins and minerals in my food, can’t beat some added vitamins. But what did I think of the flaxseeds?
As most people will know I am a bit of a healthy living nut, however just because I love healthy living doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy a good cupcake, or ice cream, or cookies or all 3, life is about balance. However sometimes it is good to keep up to date with what you’re eating, not for the calories but to be aware of macros and carbs, fats and protein, especially where I exercise a lot I make sure that I am eating enough protein, this new app however is called Lifesum. It is completely different to any app I have ever used to be honest, it isn’t just about weight loss, it focuses on you and what you want out of your life, so whether it is to eat better, to bulk up, lose weight and more this is the app for you! Ready to find out how I got on?
I’ve always been really lucky in my family because we have all cooked from a young age and we were all taught how to cook even simple dishes yet healthy, however SortedFood have shown that there is a massive gap in the knowledge of young people between 16 – 25 year olds. However I know that there is a massive gap in learning when it comes to cooking, especially with how easy it is to get precooked meals, but do you know what, cooking is so easy!
So I have taken the challenge with the Co-Op & SortedFood, I was sent a mystery box (that was all vegan friendly) and a recipe for me to make but I had to go and above is the delicious result. So how did I find the entire experience?
Now let’s be honest, being an adult absolutely sucks sometimes because it can be so difficult to find services in your local area! So are you ready to find out more about why you need this site in your bookmarks?
I think it is so important to keep up to date with when my period should be, but also with how I am feeling. I think it is so important to be able to understand what is going on with your body but also to keep track of when you might be on your period & of course fertile days if you happen to be trying for a baby.
Over the last 13 years that I have been having periods it has always been whenever my body tells me like intuition, however since I started my recovery for my mental health sometimes my period and when it is supposed to be can be all over the place. This app is like having a positive friend right at your finger tips, it doesn’t ask anything of you, it supports you through some of your most emotional times.
