So as someone who is quite partial to dying her hair, straightening her hair and basically putting her hair through it’s paces, it’s safe to say that sometimes my hair isn’t always in the best condition, especially in between hair cuts. So we basically all need the best hair care products to make sure our hair is soft, shiny, healthy and above all – fabulous! So when I was sent this gorgeous package from Shea Moisture, I was definitely excited to see what this could do for my hair, mainly because it needs all the moisture it can get.
So basically this range is supposed to help hydrate, improve manageability, strengthen and be an age defying product! It had a lot of claims but has it lived up to them?
Now this is the shampoo, when I first put it in my hair, I was surprised with the amount of lather it created with a small amount of product, I mean I’m pretty sure my head looked like a cloud! I struggle with incredibly frizzy, dry and a problem scalp so I was definitely interested in seeing how this worked. After the first use my hair definitely felt super soft, and it definitely did make a lot of difference to the way my hair felt and it had so much natural body to it!
This bottle is £10.99 now if you’re looking for an amazing high end shampoo I would definitely recommend it. I found that it did exactly what it said it was going to and not only that it didn’t contain any harsh nasty products like sulphates and the smell was incredible. The other bonus is a little goes such a long way – it’s a win win situation.
Now we are onto the conditioner, now you definitely notice a difference with the conditioner. At first I definitely had a love/hate relationship with this conditioner. I mean trying to get some of the conditioner out when you’re in the shower and you can’t seem to get a grip on it was not fun at all. However I finally got to grips with it! After using the shampoo, you can definitely see why the shampoo and conditioner are definitely the dynamic duo, not only did the conditioner not leave my hair feeling weighted down or greasy.
Now this conditioner is always £10.99 for the bottle, however it is one of those products that I feel would be absolutely fantastic if you are in desperate need of an amazing conditioner that gives you so much moisture and doesn’t weigh your hair down. We all need a good conditioner that we can rely on, especially in the colder months!
A good hair masque is always needed in my book, I mean they’re like a holy grail of hair care! I’ve been using this about once to twice a week, once as a light mask and if my hair is really dry and brittle then another time to use it as a deep moisture mask that is left on for 30 minutes. After using this it definitely feels like the moisture has left my hair feeling soft, manageable and above all amazing! Not only that I get particularly tangled hair, so I noticed a massive difference when I brushed my hair to get all of the knots out. It also has this incredible smell that makes it worth leaving on your hair for even longer besides the way it leaves your hair feeling.
This hair masque is also £10.99 but I definitely don’t use too much of it, and you get quite a large pot of it, I’ve used it once – twice a week since I got it and honestly it’s such an amazing product, that lasts so long, I’ve barely even scraped the top of my bot, there is so much in it! If you’re looking for an amazing hair masque I’d definitely recommend this one not only for the way it makes your hair feel, but because of how long it will actually last you! You want value for money!
Overall this range is probably a high end range, however, if you struggle with problem hair, or you’re looking to give your hair a lift, then this is definitely a range for you! Not only that my hair has never felt better.
You can buy your own in Superdrug & Boots right now! So go buy some because honestly you need them in your life!
