It’s officially November. Where has the year gone? Like I’ve said quite a bit over the last few weeks I’ve not been in the most positive of head spaces, but do you know what? Even though it has been a difficult month there are some positives that have come out of this month. There is a reason I am writing this post, it’s a reminder that even in the most difficult of times, something good can happen, positives can happen even through those difficult times. So what’s the good?
1. Exciting Things Are Coming On The Blog
Oooh I have some really exciting things coming up, I mean seriously exciting! As I had such a slump with blogging a few weeks ago, I’m back, I’m working hard and doing my thing and I have some really exciting posts coming up and I cannot wait to share them with you! My hard work through October has definitely paid off!
2. Autumn has arrived
All the leaves are changing, the colours of autumn are coming out and honestly nothing makes me happier than seeing all the leaves change colour is the most gorgeous thing in the world. It is definitely my favourite time of year, especially now that I can break out the blankets!
3. Realising my family are the best people in the world
I mean I already knew that, but because I’ve been struggling lately they have been so supportive, so kind, so caring and above all been there for me so much, I’m definitely beyond grateful for them!
4. Back to yoga I go
I have finally found my love for yoga again, it’s been a long time coming but I’ve finally found my love for it again! I hadn’t done yoga for a while because I was just not enjoying it anymore, now I’m loving it all over again!
5. Box set binge watching
Lately in the Cadwallader household it’s been a Stranger Things binge watch session, however we’ve also gone back to some of our old box sets too aka Ashes to Ashes which we have just finished again too! It’s that time of year where I get wrapped up in blankets, hot chocolate, snacks, and lots of layers.
6. Pumpkin season
Now I love pumpkins and seeing all the art that people do with their pumpkins, I mean honestly the fact that people are so creative just blows my mind. I get so excited about it and not only that, I love cooking with pumpkin, you can make the yummiest soup with pumpkin!
7. Candle season has started
I have an extensive collection of candles that I’m still trying to get through, and breaking out the candles and burning them is beyond relaxing. Especially on dark nights being curled up in bed.
8. New books
If you had seen my Instagram you will see that I’ve been on a book buying spree, basically to give myself a kick up the backside to get back into reading. I haven’t had much of a chance lately but I miss reading so much and I finally made some time on Sunday and started I See You by Clare Mackintosh. So far, I’m loving it!
9. It’s finally jumper weather
On Sunday I went for a walk with the family and honestly it was so cold, the sunshine wasn’t out so it was so chilly, but unboxing my jumpers ready to wrap up is the best thing in the world!
10. Preparing for Christmas
I have started Christmas shopping and getting sorted because I have so many people to buy for, so being prepared is definitely something I strive for. Before you know it will be jiggle bells and Christmas trees going up!
What happy things have happened to you in October? Let me know in the comments!
