10 Things You Should Do Everyday

Like I’ve said in a few of my blog posts lately, I’ve not been in the most positive head space, however there are a few things I’ve been doing on a daily basis that make me feel so much better and not only that it’s more to do with the little things that make the biggest difference in life. Sometimes when life is passing us by, we forget the little things that make a day even better.

Not only are there little things that you should do for yourself but

So what are these little things?

1. Yoga everyday

I love my yoga, it is actually my only release. We all know that I’m a bit of a workout fanatic, workouts make me feel human, I know that probably sounds weird because I’m obviously human (or am I, maybe I’m an alien haha) as it relaxes me, and gets me in touch with my soul.

2. Help someone else 

Sometimes it isn’t always obvious when someone needs help, maybe they have gone quiet, maybe they are looking a little lost, or maybe when you’re out someone is trying reach something and they can’t reach, giving someone that little helping hand makes a difference.

3. Reach out to a friend

Friendships make the world go round, they’re the people that you can rely on no matter what. Through the difficult times though they’re the people that are there for you no matter what & they’re the ones that will keep you strong through those times. Those are the friends that you want in your life, through thick and thin.

4. Do your skincare routine

Your skincare routine is so important, I mean seriously, it’s so good for your skin, and after a long day, the thing that makes you feel so much better is taking all your make up off, cleansing your skin and leaving your feeling absolutely amazing!

5. Take time to read a book 

Reading is something that I actually haven’t had a chance to do lately, but I’m definitely looking at making more time for it. It is so important to escape your space, get into a place that helps me to chill out. Not only that it helps me to learn new things, open my mind and see things from different perspectives.

6. Write something to share your thoughts

Share your thoughts, write something and it can be anything! Whether you write in a diary, write on twitter, write something that helps you to express your feelings. We all need an outlet, and sometimes if you have a chance to write something down it honestly makes a difference because I know in my life I spend most of my time on the computer!

7. Smile at someone

There is a lot of darkness in this world lately, but do you know what a little smile can just brighten someone’s day possibly when someone needs it the most. A little smile goes a long way and do you know what I know that if I was having a really awful day someone showing me a little smile would make my day slightly brighter.

8. Happiness is so important 

Sometimes we all have awful days, it is natural. Not everyday is going to be a fantastic day but do you know what bad days build better days and that is important to remember. One thing I do know is you should never let other people impact upon your happiness, the people who bring you down do not deserve to be in your life!

9. Never give up on what you want in life

I have so many dreams right now, I know what I want in my life and where I want to go and if 1 thing is for certain I’m definitely not going to give up! If you hadn’t seen it, I did an interview with Female First which I was beyond excited about and that is such an amazing dream for me. Not only that I want to complete my book and that would be absolutely incredible!

10. Be unapologetically you

You should never change yourself for anyone else, that is something I have learned but as you walk through life, you should always be you! The right people will always accept you for the incredible human that you are. No more, no less.

    I’m so glad I’ve read this. Just what I’ve needed. I’ve been doing things like this everyday to better my mood and it really does work! I’ve started to read again and it feels so good to get stuck into a good book xx

    I love these! I am trying to fit a few extras into my routine lately. Some days I feel like everything is caving around me, anxiety is horrible. I do try to smile and complement people. The ladies that come into work I find 1 thing I like about them at first glance and I tell them. I only do this with ladies because I feel we should all stick together and lift each other when possible.
