What I’ve Learned As Someone Who Doesn’t Like Change

I am awful with change, honestly. You think I am joking? Change throws me off everything, it makes me ridiculously uncomfortable and I end up wanting to crawl back into my hole where I am most comfortable. Online I might come across as a confident person, but in reality, I’m quite shy until I get to know you and have a chance to get comfortable around you. Change is definitely something that isn’t my friend, but I’m trying, trying my absolute hardest to learn to cope better with change. So what have I learned?

Everyone says, oh change is a good thing and my response is really? However learning to embrace everything that comes towards my life and I’m definitely learning to just embrace everything.

Change is definitely something that should be embraced because it is a good thing, it really is. That might sound strange coming from someone who hates change but sometimes you need to step out of your comfort zone, to try new things, and allow things to change.

It really allows us to grow, we experience new adventures and to be honest change has taught me so so much.

If we don’t change sometimes, then we don’t grow to our full potential and we all want to achieve as much as possible.

So honestly what have I learned from embracing change?

That life only happens once, sometimes we need to appreciate everything that comes our way, every opportunity and just enjoy life as much as possible.

Change is one of those things in life we cannot stop, it is an inevitable part of life, but it is honestly too much effort to just sit there and try to fight what is most probably going to happen.

When it comes to embracing change try to look on the positive side of life, I know that is currently what I’m attempting to do because you do need to try and have that positive energy in the hopes that there will be some positive influence coming towards us.

This post is so important to me right now because there are going to be so many changes in my life over the next few months, and I’m going to be learning to embrace every moment that comes my way and to just enjoy it.

How do you deal with change? Are you like me and struggle with change or do you embrace it with open arms?

I completely agree Amie. Change is so hard to accept but on most occasions it really is for the better. The world would be incredibly boring and frustrating if it never changed. I mean … who could possibly cope with the whole rewinding a VHS these days?
