It’s summer which means we all want a fabulously refreshing dessert that is sweet, delicious, tasty and is the kind of treat, so when I was sent these little pods of happiness, I was in my absolute element! I’ve absolutely loved The Coconut Collaborative since I went vegan, I have had their ice cream and their yoghurts, so I know how delicious their products really are, and all of their goodies are too yummy to even describe, however I am going to give it an amazing go with these gorgeous treats!
Being vegan doesn’t mean that we go without on the dessert and treat side of things, there are so many amazing treats out there for all different tastes, so let’s be honest a moment, this one will not disappoint on the treat front.
These little pods are absolutely delicious because they aren’t a yoghurt, but they are light and have a silky texture which makes them perfect after dinner treat.
If you’re worried that they might be a bit sharp, because I know that lemon can be on the sharp side sometimes, I promise you that you will love these! Personally I found that they didn’t have a ridiculously sharp lemon taste, it was subtle yet refreshing, and you got that slight taste of coconut on the after notes! This dessert is honestly the perfect combination of flavours and with the lemon and coconut it is literally a match made in heaven.
I have had the chocolate little temptations before and honestly loved them so much so having an amazing tasting fruity and refreshing pod was perfect for me. w
If you’re looking for the perfect dessert that doesn’t contain dairy, is vegan and an easy yet delicious dessert? Then this is the one for you!
The only thing I really would have loved more is if the pods were bigger, because they really didn’t last very long in my house! Everyone fell in love with them and how they tasted!
Have you tried these desserts yet? Did you want to try them? You can find them at Ocado, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Whole Foods & Planet Organic!
