Now I’m the kind of person that is addicted to my phone, I love to make sure I have all of my favourite apps at a touch of a button. Since having a new phone though it makes me appreciate how much effort it is to put everything back on my phone the way it was. However it has made me consolidate the apps that I do have. So what are my top used apps that you if you don’t have already need on your phone?
The apps that are in the top tapped don’t all relate to me, however I’m going to talk about the ones that I use the most and why I absolutely adore them!
Twitter 38% top tapped – I love Twitter, it’s one of the best ways to keep in contact with my blogger friends around the world. Being a blogger Twitter honestly is my godsend, it’s my holy grail. Not only that it keeps me up to date with practically everything in my life, including a whole variety of news. Also the fabulous thing is I’ve met so many amazing friends through Twitter I’m so grateful!
Facebook Messenger 66% top tapped – This app is open constantly, mainly because this is how my Mum sends me cute videos of cats, she is an absolute babe like that. Not only that I get to keep in touch with my in laws which is always the best and never fails to make me smile!
WhatsApp 51% top tapped – I live for my WhatsApp, mainly because it is one of the reasons I’m able to keep up with the group chats I’m in. It’s honestly so good and not only that myself and my best friend are able to send audio clips to each other, especially when we both cannot be bothered to type.
Snapchat 24% top tapped – I absolutely adore Snapchat even though Instagram has it’s own filters now, Snapchat came first and I love the fact that the voices change depending on the filters. And not only that a good filter hides a lot of things right?
Instagram 28% top tapped – I have loved Instagram since I took the plunge, it is such a creative platform, it offers you the change to get creative with your photography and think outside of the box. As much as I might end up getting annoyed with the app itself it is something that I really enjoy regardless.
Now I’ve looked at Carphone Warehouse Map of Britain and now looking at their map of apps that used in my demographic. My top apps in my demographic are Edinbus, Citymapper & MobileXpression Research. These are totally different to the apps that I would normally use as I would personally have Tumblr & Fitbit added to the top of my list, but this has definitely given me a massive insight into the apps that my demographic use and it’s definitely getting me to look into apps that I could potentially use!
In terms of the gender divide and the apps, out of all 5 I use 1 which is GoodReads! I absolutely love that app because it keeps me motivated to read so much!
What apps do use and does the map match what you use? Let me know in the comments.
