The blogging world is incredibly competitive, we are all so talented and have so many incredible strengths and talents it’s an incredible industry to be part of. Not only that I feel like it is one of the best communities to be part of. Anyway I have kind of digressed a little bit. With there being more fabulous and incredible opportunities more and more people are coming into the blogging world and that is one of the most wonderful things ever, with that I see that sometimes depending on the situation there can be a bit of competitiveness to get some collaborations.
I’ve been incredibly lucky like a lot of people to get some incredible opportunities and there is something out there for everyone, however I have experienced some times when people feel the need to be competitive, or even jealous of people’s opportunities. I know I have had my own fair share of how come you managed to get that kind of opportunity and I didn’t.
Overall the thoughts that go through my head is if a person is blogging for the right reasons then they will cheer people on, support these incredible opportunities that people get and also use it as motivation to work harder. I know I do.
Blogging is something that I am incredibly passionate about and have been for such a long time, it has given me so much and I am so lucky, but here is a letter to the people who might get a little pang of jealousy or competitiveness when they see others get some incredible collabs!
I know it isn’t easy to have that little green eye of envy sometimes, trust me I get it more than most we all get that sometimes, but do you know what there is a way to go about it.
I’ve had some rude comments before because people feel like I don’t have the statistics for someone to want to work with me, but honestly that doesn’t stop me from trying.
If you want to work with a brand that you have loved and adored for such a long time, then email them, don’t get jealous or competitive, work hard and do your thing!
Hard work really really does pay off.
Be friendly, be supportive, be passionate, be an amazing human being. I promise you that it will pay off.
There are so many amazing people within the community, we are a friendly bunch really, don’t ever be rude to someone over anything!
There are so many incredible bloggers who really are supportive, kind a courageous and I’m so proud to be able to support them because they are absolutely killing it!
Have you ever experienced any competitiveness or rudeness from someone being competitive?
