Things I Do On Days When I Don’t Wanna Adult

I have some serious days where I don’t wanna be an adult, I mean honestly, there are days when I wish I was a kid. Honestly it was so much easier, no worries about bills, money or anything like that, it was all chilled, the only thing we had to worry about was whether we were going to have to share our toys with the other children. I think all adults have days where they literally just don’t wanna be an adult, and as I’ve got older they have become more and more frequent, so what do I do when I don’t want to be an adult?

One. Play computer games

I love playing computer games because it chills me out so much, it’s relaxing and not only that I get the chance to play different games with my husband. He was the one that got me into the to be honest and opened my eyes to different games like Skyrim & Borderlands! I blame him for my obsession.

Two. Netflix

Netflix is the best thing since sliced bread. Let’s be honest if you don’t have Netflix you’re honestly missing out so much! There are so many amazing shows on there, but also some pretty good movies too! They don’t have all of them but there are still some pretty fab ones on there!

Three. Disney movies

Disney movies are the best way to remember what it’s like to be younger, because in honesty they’re the best movies ever! My personal favourite is Beauty & The Beast and Sleeping Beauty which is why I have so many amazing Beauty and The Beast pieces in my house, however I haven’t seen the new one.

Four. Old songs

Anything like Spice Girls or Steps or S Club 7 and I’m there, they are literally the kinds of songs that literally made my childhood, mainly because they were the songs you would dance to at parties and have so much fun together!

Five. Read a good book

I have such a massive mixture of books that I absolutely adore! Lately though I’ve been loving things that are like psychological thrillers, I blame Kayleigh from Very Berry Cosmo because she honestly does so many amazing book choices!

Six. Turning off my phone

Sometimes the easiest thing in the world to just turn everything off and chilling out, I think sometimes we all need that just to get away from everything. I’m the kind of person that can only take so much from so being away from everyone really helps to be honest!

What do you on the days when you don’t really wanna be an adult? Let me know in the comments!

Definitely listening to old music, I used to love Steps when I was younger too! Having a good doodle or colouring book is one of my favourite ways to not adult x

I have many a day where I don’t want to be an adult!! Music definitely, – the old throwback Thursdays on Spotify bring all the memories back! Reading as well, I’m not very good at reading during term as I feel like I should be working/my downtime usually consists of TV but I can’t wait to finally be finished and start working through the massive list of books I want to read!

Old songs are one of my favourite ways to avoid adulting for a while! S Club 7 is definitely a personal favourite, I even went to see their reunion tour a couple of years ago haha and it was the best night ever. Also partial to a bit of Kelly Clarkson or JoJo. Reading is a great one as well, although I am struggling to make time for it at the moment 🙁

YES YES YES to Netflix, switching off cellphones and jamming out to some throwback tunes.

On my list, I’d include a good cuddle with my cat, very creatively named Kitty (it’s a LONG story).

I like to get in bed, put on netflix, and eat a big plate of hummus and warm pitta bread hahah. As well as listening to music, I can spend a lotttt of time making spotify playlists, so that’s a big one for me.
